@@MuslimMindsUS God is Truth. God the Father is the first person of the Trinity. God the Son is the second person of the Trinity. God the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. All three are co-eternal and co-equal in all things. They constitute the Triune God who is, who was, and who always will be. God the Son proceeds from the Father, and God the Holy Spirit proceeds from both the Father and the Son. Mary is the daughter of God the Father, the Mother of God the Son, and handmaid of God the Holy Spirit. God the Father gives his love to God the Son, who reciprocates the love. They, in turn, give love and grace to each of us via God the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God previously resided in the Second Temple in Jerusalem (on the seat of the Ark of the Covenant). After Jesus ascended into Heaven in AD 30, forty years of bad omens suggested the Spirit was leaving the Temple. You can read about it. The Holy Spirit is now housed in us baptized Christians. We are the new Temple. In AD 70, God allowed the Temple to be destroyed. The Pharisees were entrusted with teaching people how to worship God, but when God Himself came to them, they used legalistic measures to put Him to death. He was their messiah and redeemer and king who fulfilled all the prophecies, but they were blind to the truth. Today’s Jews are the continuation of the Pharisees who condemned Jesus to death; they continue to deny Jesus’s divinity to this day. The Roman execution provided legal recognition of Jesus as a King of the Jews. Christianity then spread rapidly throughout the Roman Empire, which was ripe for harvest to Christianity, as God intended. Islam came 600 years later, when Muhammad started saying Jesus wasn’t God, a recapitulation of an old heresy but with variations that stuck in the Arabian peninsula. All coordinated in secret by the devil across time. The Christian Council of Nicaea in 325 was in present-day Turkey when it was still a Christian stronghold before the Muslim invasion of Turkey via the Ottoman Empire. Today’s Turkish Government is the modern continuation of the former caliphate. Constantinople was only officially changed to “Istanbul” in 1930. The Council of Nicaea established the dogma of the Most Holy Trinity, over 250 years before Muhammad was born.
“O God, who canst not change nor fail,
guiding the hours as they roll by,
brightening with beam the morning pale,
and burning in the mid-day sky.
Quench thou the fires of hate and strife,
the wasting fever of the heart.
From peril guard our feeble life,
and to our souls thy peace impart.
Grant this O Father, Only Son,
and Holy Spirit, God of Grace,
      to whom all glory, Three-in-One,
be given in every time and place. Amen.” - Cardinal Newman
This Sunday is the Feast of Pentecost. You should read up on it. It will help you understand the Graces of God the Holy Spirit. God bless you ♥️

Really good content guys! Catholic here so I just want to push back on few points:
    1) Jesus expressing limitations on earth is not at all in conflict with him being fully God. He came with certain objectives and with a specific manner of conduct he intended to show how close he is to us. He put his divine power on a shelf for a time. Otherwise one might object why isn't he teleporting around and similar objections.
    2) Paul didn't need to reconcile with the apostles, he speakes highly of them and is in agreement with them. He was in conflict with judiizers(not original apostles) and had to rebuke Cephas when he wasn't conducting himself properly (we aren't even sure if this is Peter or one of the seventy).
    3) When engaging Christian beliefs, you should approach the bible holistically, not zero in on a verse and interpret it on your own while ignoring context of the book and the other books. For example: Jesus also came for the gentiles, it is obvious from the gospels and is alluded to in the old testament.
    4) Saying we don't have anything from the first century is false, the gospels and the epistles themselves are from the first century. Bringing up anachronistic fake gospels that are written in 3-4th century is just silly.
Secondly, quran itself speaks highly of Christian scriptures. Thirdly one can turn around and say the same thing to a Muslim. Claiming that we have copies of copies and that the hadith is just hearsay long after the fact.
And fourthly, I am confused why you are confused when he speaks of old testament revelation. Putting aside delicate topics such as incarnation and atonement, aren't you as Muslims supposed to believe most of the old testament since those are your prophets too.
Ps. Well, I said all I wanted, sorry if I came of a bit crass, but I had to cover a lot without it turning into an essay.
    Have a great day guys.

I know this video is a year old, but I would like to offer a response to the outrageous claim of the Incarnation (God becoming a man), because it is an outrageous claim, but one which I affirm as a Catholic.
The Incarnation does permanently solve a single perennial issue of Abrahamic Monotheism which I believe to be operant within Islam and Judaism's conceptions of God: "What is the one thing a limitless God lacks?" The obvious answer is, "Limitation."
The Incarnation cuts the Gordian Knot of this conundrum and demonstrates the supreme unlimited God to Man in a way which is actually even more wholly limitless than was previously understood. I believe this also would eventually suggest the Trinity when taken to it's logical conclusion, but that is a whole other matter.
    God bless you both.

    When Jesus says:
    Matthew 5:17
Do not think that I have come to abolish Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
He is saying that He will "finish" the Law, fulfilled means finish, complete, in fact when Jesus dies on the cross He says:
    John 19:30
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
With His sacrifice He fulfilled the Law and the whole sacrificial system is concluded.
Now we are under the Law of Jesus, that is this:
    Matthew 22:36-40
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Anyway I love your videos guys! 🤩

“The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains the orthodox interpretation of these words of the Lord:
By its union to the divine wisdom in the person of the Word incarnate, Christ enjoyed in his human knowledge the fullness of understanding of the eternal plans he had come to reveal. What he admitted to not knowing in this area, he elsewhere declared himself not sent to reveal (474).
What this means then is that “not knowing” refers to his not being sent to reveal the day and the hour in his human nature, leaving that office to the Father. It has always been understood that as God, Christ knows the day and the hour but that in his mission on Earth he was not sent to reveal this. We need to remember that the word to know in the Semitic senses used in Scripture is very diverse and rich and does not refer only to mental information but to actions and offices.”

Hey Guys great video. One point I would like to make.
Father Mike said the Bible isn’t a science book, which it’s not. It doesn’t make scientific claims. For example the Genesis story isn’t written in a Scientific way that can be measured and tested.
The Bible is a collection of books (73 books) each written in different languages, Genres, authors and periods of time. So when you read a specific book you must understand the style it’s written in and the context.
Again. The Bible isn’t a science textbook so it doesn’t make any scientific claims.
But as we all know science isn’t the only form of truth that exists.

Don't take offense to this but MOST of your understanding of Christianity is wrong:
    1. In Mark and Matthew Jesus was talking about "to make something known" if you read it in context.
    2. All three of the PERSONS of God pray to each other
    3. Even in Islam death doesn't mean the end of your existence. Meaning the sacrifice was Jesus not the son.

    • @MuslimMindsUS
      @MuslimMindsUS  Рік тому +1

      Hey Tycko,
Regarding point 2: Can you share any Bible verses where the father prays to the son or the spirit so we can better this understanding? To our knowledge there are many verses of Jesus praying to the father but not vice versa.
Point 1: we are just talking about the disparity in the Trinity in comparison to Jesus placing the father as the goal and the one he prays to. The one he says that is greater than himself. In Mark and Matthew we did not contest what these gospels were about. We were talking about the relation of Christ in general to the father.
Point 3: we didn’t say death was the end of existence, but death does not apply to God because he is eternal. Just like weakness does not apply to God because he is all powerful.
Also if Jesus is fully human AND fully God but only Jesus died then Jesus is not God. He is both of human and man not separate from each other. Most mainstream Christian’s disagree with you and say God died, not just his human nature.

The Full explanation by Sam Shamoun. (Sam Shamoun comes live on UA-cam to answer Questions about Christianity, u can search him up on UA-cam)
Luke 6:12 “In these days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God.”

𝗔. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗻.
For Christians, Prayer is not only worship but also means communication, glorifying, praising. Jesus was speaking to Father. Just like Father speaks to Spirit and Jesus, Spirit speaks to Jesus and the Father.
Now u might ask where does Father speak to Son?
Heb 1:8 "But to the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a sceptre of justice."
Holy Spirit Praying : Rom 8:26-27 "In the same way, even the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs that cannot be put into words. And the one who searches hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will."
Jesus speaking about the Holy Spirit glorifying : John 16:14-15 "He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and communicate it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine. That is why I said that he will take what is mine and communicate it to you."
If Jesus is not God then would Jesus be able to say this? Imagine a Jew saying this.
John 17:1-2 “After saying this, Jesus raised his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come.
Glorify your Son, so that your Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all people, so that he may give eternal life to all those you have given him.”
John 8:54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, that glory is of no value. It is my Father who glorifies me, the one about whom you say, ‘He is our God,’ (Read John 13:31-32 also.).
      𝗕. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻.
Jesus is the Perfect human, that God wanted a human to be.
He is the example we have to follow (Ephesians 5:1).
Imagine Jesus says ‘I am God so I don’t need to pray’ That would be a bad example.
Would a perfect man in a theistic world live a life without God, would he break the commands of God? or would a Perfect Man love God, obey God, worship God?
Obviously, a Perfect Man would do everything that God commands.
No Human would be able to say this.
John 8:28-29 “Therefore, Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM, that I do nothing on my own authority and I say nothing except what the Father has taught me. He who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.” (Read John 7:18 also.)
John 14:31 “On the contrary, so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do as the Father commanded me. “Get up; let’s leave this place.”

The one who doesn’t love me will not keep my words. The word that you hear is not mine but is from the Father who sent me.”
 If we follow what Jesus says , Jesus and God the Father will come and make home with us.
      • John 15: 9-10 “As the Father has loved me, I have also loved you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commands you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.”
 Like the branches flourish when they are with the tree and decay when they fall from the tree, so also we called to remain in Jesus’s Love to flourish, or else we to fall down and decay.
JESUS is the PERFECT HUMAN and PERFECT GOD THE SON. And GOD THE FATHER wanted us to follow JESUS. JESUS as GOD THE SON, PRAYED (I.E. COMMUNICATED TO GOD THE FATHER AND HOLY SPIRIT) and as a HUMAN, JESUS PRAYED SO THAT WE FOLLOW IN HIS STEPS.

I love how open minded to the truth you both were! You asked a great question: “How did people figure this stuff out?” We didn’t. God reveals Himself to us. He tells us what he wants us to know. He gives us what we need when we ask. We call these “graces” from the Lord, Our King, named Jesus, who is also God. We have the privilege of having God as our King. Those of us who are baptized receive more of God’s graces than those who are not. It’s hard to explain how you just suddenly receive amazing insights when praying the Rosary, for example. For Catholics, prayer is essential. For a non-Catholic, you wouldn’t know what it feels like until you feel it. I’ll hope for your baptisms. You are now sons of Adam. Based on Adam’s sin, all his offspring must surely die. The old covenant was ended when Jesus died. That’s how he saved us. Jesus also represents the holocaust offering to God to atone for our sins. Our sins were so great that there was no priest good enough to offer it except Jesus, the perfect priest, prophet, and king. God gave us all he had - Himself - and all he created. The devil was not happy with the massive growth of the Christian (Catholic) Church in the six centuries following the first coming of Christ, so the devil sent a demon to impersonate the Angel Gabriel (who really appeared to Mary in the Annunciation). This demon denied the divinity of Jesus. Muhammad was scared, so he ran to his wife - 15 years his senior. She then convinced Muhammad to listen to this devil, who dictated the Koran to him. The demon made him grow bloodthirsty for the blood of Christians. The early Christian cities - Antioch, Alexandria, Jerusalem, Constantinople, and Rome - have all essentially fallen, just as the devil intended. True Christianity is but a remnant. Jesus asked, “Will I find anyone when I return?” The visible Catholic externals of the Vatican were compromised by freemasonry. They even elected their own first antipope - Antipope John XXIII in 1958. Watch VaticanCatholic.com to get a crash course in true world history. I have faith you two will enjoy this rabbit hole that will open your eyes. God bless you on your journey. Please reach out if you need any help or guidance further. ❤

@@MuslimMindsUS Yes, I do disrespect Muhammad. Jesus warned us of false prophets, and Muhammad was one of them. Most people do not know this, but Catholicism actually teaches us not to respect other religions. Numerous popes gave strong exhortations to avoid the heresy of modernism and false ecumenism. We have no right to tolerate lies. God is Truth. God became Man. The Spirit animates and grows our bodies, which are otherwise just dust. God the Word incarnated Himself. God Himself walked the Earth! Praise God! He humbled himself to give himself in sacrifice for us lowly sinners. Most of us will end up in hell anyway after all that, but He did it for the small minority of his creatures who will choose to love and serve Him. Such a profound thing for God Almighty to do for us. False ecumenism was promoted by the current line of antipopes, including Jorge Bergoglio, who openly promotes religious tolerance and celebrations of false religions. Everything starts with God. Follow this: there is only one God; and one faith of that one God; and one religion of that one God. Therefore, Christianity and Islam are mutually exclusive. They cannot both be correct. Only Catholicism is. (Not the Vatican II counterfeit Church in Rome). How can I respect the heresy that Jesus was not God? It would be a mortal sin for me to do so. The first Vatican Council was interrupted in 1870 and never formally closed. The pope lost control of Rome (he was the king) when the Italian Freemasons took over via the Kingdom of Italy. The popes remained prisoners in the Vatican until 1929, when Mussolini recognized the world’s new smallest sacerdotal kingdom, The Vatican City State, via the Lateran Treaty. The popes held on until 1958, when a Freemason, Angelo Roncalli, was elected as antipope John XXIII. He quickly called for the false council Vatican II, where the church liturgy was changed into the Protestant monstrosity that now occurs in churches that purport to be Catholic. Satan was enthroned in the Vatican in 1963, per the reports of Fr. Malachi Martin, a Vatican insider and polyglot. He was the secretary of one of the cardinals in the 1958 conclave. He’s got great interviews on UA-cam. Freemasonry is literally Luciferian worship. Few of the low-level masons know what it’s really about. Freemasonry loves to “respect” all religions because it allow for corruption of souls. King Charles III of England is now the highest ranking Freemason in the world, following the death of his mother (her soul is almost certainly in hell unless she repented of her public sins before God; only He knows for sure). The recent coronation of King Charles III was a big Satanic ceremony if you know what to look for. They formally removed the last vestiges of Christianity from England, which fell to Protestantism that spread from Germany in the 17th century. The whole of the Roman Christian Empire has fallen back into Satanism and paganism. The Eastern Roman Empire fell to Islam because of the eastern heresies, such as the refusal to believe in the true dogma of the Filioque. The true Church is but a remnant. Please consider getting baptized today. If you don’t know how, I can teach you. Without baptism, we are doomed to hell as Sons of Adam. God bless you ♥️

Basically, Jews up until the early modern era believed in politicized Halakha, which was not valid unless the holy of holies is rebuilt in the third temple under the Moshiach.
Everywhere else though, my religion, Noahidism, since the six days of creation and directly after the flood was meant to ban idolatry everywhere which would mean that we would force convert all Christians, Hindus, and any other kind of idolater.
Muslims would be spared, but its kind of epic in its horror when not dealing with utterly barbaric and morally repugnant enemies like the pre-flood horror show. Modern Hindus and Christians aren't sacrificing their children to Molech, et. so they should be tolerated, and whether we should be in charge is kind of iffy. Dennis Prager seems to have some insights about bringing the values of your religion, but not legislating its every dictate, genuinely good change has come from an attitude of "I will follow the Halakha, not you a Muslim or a Christian, but you another Noahide don't have to."

I would suggest to you watching "Unseen Realm" by Michael Heiser. Yeah, it's long ;) so I don't expect you to make full reaction video, but still, it's interesting. I'm a catholic, Heiser is a protestant, so there are many things I don't agree with, but I watched it several times already. It's a bit sad to me, that there is no catholic video that would express so well what we believe in. But in this video you can feel such a great passion and devotion to God! Highly recommended.

Exactly, brother. The books and letters of the Bible are compiled (through strict criteria in a Council for weeks) by the authority of the Catholic Church. Most Protestants and Christians sects (cults) fail to recognize that using the Bible is acknowledging the authority of the Catholic Tradition and Magisterium.
Without Catholicism (the first and original Christianity), there will be no Bible. And there will be factions upon factions of Christian groups.
Jesus gave the keys of heaven and hell to Peter, the first Pope.. and whatever he "binds on earth shall be bound in heaven"..

Early Christian writings outnumbered the 27 books that would become the canon of the New Testament. The shepherds of the Church, by a process of spiritual discernment and investigation into the liturgical traditions of the Church spread throughout the world, had to draw clear lines of distinction between books that are truly inspired by God and originated in the apostolic period, and those which only claimed to have these qualities.
The process culminated in 382 as the Council of Rome, which was convened under the leadership of Pope Damasus, promulgated the 73-book scriptural canon. The biblical canon was reaffirmed by the regional councils of Hippo (393) and Carthage (397), and then definitively reaffirmed by the ecumenical Council of Florence in 1442.

please forgive me haha i have to address each point separately as watching:
"Why would Jesus leave things out for his apostles" .... something what you guys said ....
No he taught many many things not spoken of in the bible.... This here scriptural reference is proof of it :
    John 21:25
"But there are also many other things which Jesus did; were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. "
So one would have to forgive the or a single apostle for not saying all things ... or even missing or not focusing on many things Jesus did/said. Human after all were the appostles right.
So Jesus said all things in fullness... sadly a lot not recorded but John explains this in his scripture .. Therefore.... I wanted to address that small point.
    Thank you for listening.

  • @marieclairembangatoungou5530

As Christian I truly beleive that Jesus is God. Because God is not in the same paradigm as us human. God has not borned, no one creates God. God is eternal, unlimited, that means God is on everything and everyone. But Got is not everything of everything or everything of everyone . God is the true inside everything and everyone. Mainly people tend to manifest the lie of thier existence ways that are wrong doing that is not manifesting god.
But Jesus in his entire life has let the truth guide him (not the of life that everyone is looking for)
Jesus not knowing what will hapen is totally manifesting the truth of God. Because God wants the human being not to try knowing what will hapen. In fact Moses clearly adviced people about not going to see magician and all that stuff to know the futire but beleive in the goodness of God and follow the comandment
So because god an entity Jesus is full represantation of God in human being.
Simply Jesus is the human as god purspose want human to be.

Another thing while Im watching I am addressing. Dont misunderstand what Father mike sais . Remember, And im talking about in the context of us Christians who believe in Jesus a certain way...... The people killed Jesus.. Jesus never killed himself. Let's not forget that important point. Jesus knew that he had to Obey the father..... And the Father intention was that Jesus be handed over to this Bitter cup.... he had to... in obeying God the father. Believe me Jesus wanted to remain alive and teach more and have many years to teach.
This is where the miracle comes in of Why The Son had to Die... I can tell you why..... If it hadn't happened that way, The Fullness of the Christian faith would not be in existence and it would be like any other path where the leader lived till old age with many teachings. Im not trying to say Christianity is better than any other.. im explaining to you guys From a perspective you may not have seen .... That the reason We all have such Strong faith in Jesus is his , DEATH, Ressurection and him ascending to the father. This as Catholics and Any Christian is the pinnacle of our belief and why we are so Strong in spirit and have such undying faith.
I just wanted to clear that up. In our Christian faith, its a very how do I say, not easily understood thing why Jesus had to die (Gods plan is beyond comprehension and he saves in ways we might not understand) .... But we know the outcome of it in our Faith that Jesus proved it in his arising in spirit after death to his disciples .... that he was who he was..... That's the best reason I can explain to you guy that's spoken of in scripture that .... well one can deny happened if you don't believe in the New Testament... but it's there and that's where apart from Catholic tradition and Bible we believe.
    Thankyou Brothers. Be well.

He is wrong. Not all christianity is derived from catholicism. The early church was not catholic. The Niceean creed is common with the orthodox church, but catholics change it after its adoption. So orthodox church is not based on catholicism and catholic church is not an authority regarding the dogma for all christianity.

Hey Claude, the concern here is most of the passages related to this come from Paul while we have other versus where Jesus says: “Then Jesus said to the woman, “I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep-the people of Israel.”
This seems contradictory and is the issue at hand. Not that it isn’t present in the New Testament. Also one has to ponder that Jesus was sent, and states that he of his own will can do nothing and that only this father knows the hour. These contradictions with the Christian claim have only been addressed through traditions of the early church and denouncing other opinions as heretical.

Jesus is quoting the common Jewish interpretation of the Messiah being for Jews exclusively. In the gospel according to Matthew, the next chapter the Jews demand a sign. Jesus said no sign will be given but the sign of Jonah where Jesus will die, resurrect, and the Gentile nations will obey God. This is what happened. The final chapter speaks about Jesus having all authority and commanding the disciples to "disciple the nations, teaching them obedience". This is what happened historically.

Even in Islam, do you truly respect Christians? I speak the truth that Jesus is God. As a Muslim, you don’t believe that. So, you would then be forced to conclude that I am a blasphemer, as I would be ascribing false attributes to God, saying He became man. At the high levels, Muslim extremists who read the Koran for real (not just apologetics exercises) will use this as justification to kill me. The “Average Joe” Muslim doesn’t read the Koran to that degree, so they typically call themselves a religion of peace. It’s only peaceful once they have killed all Christian resisters who refuse to make shahada. That or slavery. And England, ruled by two Muslims, one openly and one in secret, now control ⅓ of the world directly. I predict some Christians will be killed by Muslims before it’s all settled.
