It's a fun little drone! Mine just came today (11/26/24) and so far I've flown it around the house to test it a little but it's like a "friendly" Avata 2.😂
Great video with some really useful information. I’ve had my Neo for about 3 weeks but I still learned things from your video. Also, love the fact that you don’t want your channel to be driven by brands! Well done 👍
At the end of the video you grab the Neo out of the air and turn it off using the power button. You can also flip it upside down and the engines will stop immediately.
Love the neo, ordered it over a month ago and was a little worried about not having a dedicated controller. But after playing around with the techy features I may not even want a controller now. It's a perfect addition to my mini 2 and I find myself whipping it out and just playing around with it. It's great for my grand kids.

Very helpful video. You got my like and subscribe! I was one of the early adopters of the HoverAir X1, and I have loved it. It folds up and really does fit in my pocket. That little guy does all of the things that DJI quickly added into this new Neo (not “Nero” by the way) offers. My usecase remains in place for the Hover. It folds up so tightly that it fits in my pocket (really, it actually does fit because it’s like half of a sandwich). So that one gets the nod when we are walking around on a vacation trip. The Neo is a different beast. It works with my DJI Goggles. The flight stick. My multiple DJI controllers. So there is quite a bit of fun on a dedicated drone outing like when my wife and I have a picnic at a local park that is often devoid of any people really being present. So easy to enjoy anything there. My Mini 4 Pro and my Avata 2 are both just fine to play with there. But THIS little Neo…it can go anywhere because of how small it is. This is where my new usecase comes in. I can fly it at places where there are people. If they see it, it looks like a toy (much like the Hover). Only this one can fly very far, and out of sight of anyone around. That leaves me with my controller just taking video and pictures, having a good time. I’m bring this little guy to Dana Point Harbor this weekend! Cheers everybody, and buy a Neo as soon as you can. This is truly the gateway to having fun with drones. Just remember you really do want to purchase a controller with the video screen. This makes it easier to fly as a beginner, and I’ve been flying for years…I still like to see what the drone sees.
