Writing this from a week old S21FE, i paid around 500 dollars as it was heavily discounted because the new s22 line is out. Coming from an iphone 11, the screen is amazing, cameras are awesome for daily use and social media. Battery life is fine. Would recommend to amyone if you can get a good deal on it!
I actually ended up with the FE by mistake. I returned the s22+ because people were telling me I sounded like a robot when I called them. I was just looking to exchange the phone and there were none left so I had to go with the FE. Glad this happened. Love the screen good battery life perfect size and has the same styling as the s22 for 400 less. Grate phone with excellent software. I would recommend the FE even if you have the budget for the s22 plus, save the extra cash and get a Galaxy watch or something.

My is the S20fe with the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 & I never get any frame drops or any problems with any apps & it doesn’t Hartley ever get hot to the touch & even after 9 months I own it is got a brilliant battery life and great cameras & mine came with a fast charger in the box and of course a slot for an SD card I have 128 SD card on it & it works great, mine is a Samsung extreme SD card is very fast, so I very much recommend it the 5g version with the Snapdragon 865 processor still a very powerful chipset cheers peace ✌️
You literally are the ONLY youtuber I came across who talked about the random micro stutters and jitters while app switching and scrolling. Most people ignore them, but it irritates me a lot at times to the point I have ocd frankly :3 I am using the s20 fe 5g {snapdragon variant}. After some improvements in the overheating department, the latest update of 1 Aug 22 has returned the overheating problem again. After 15+ minutes of videocall on WA and Signal the phone died due to overheating. I hope further updates will improve this situation.
@@RPM.7000 Voice calls are fine. UA-cam, socmed are also fine with 41⁰C being the norm. Video calls if reaching 51⁰C will cause the phone to shut down. I'm waiting for the next update with the hope the problem will be resolved.
@@priyank799 My only problem is the overheating. During videocalls wa\signal it is crystal clear at first and as the heat build up the quality of the video goes down . If you are lucky the phone wont die on you. The hottest part of the phone is next to the camera lenses which I think is the location of the Exynos 2100.

Mine also becomes laggy sometimes due to a drop in frame rate. But then, after I switch off, always on display the problem is solved. There is no more frame drop for me after that
The s21fe doesn't have the snapdragon processor? Is the display the same quality of the s22+ ? Is the 120 refresh rate adaptive? In short, is their a qualitative difference when stepping up to the S22 or s22+ ? Would you prefer the s21f or the pixel 6?

Was that actually an issue that has been resolved by software update over last couple of months ? I just ordered one but scared on this count. Can you share your thoughts please.
Thank you! I didn't face any poor battery life to be honest and I documented the experience as well. Unless you're absolutely pushing the phone everyday, battery life with moderate use is fine in my experience.
For me the battery life is fine. It lasts most of the day and even when I game it doesn't leave me feeling conscious about the battery life. The only thing that drains the batt fast is when I'm doing a video call with my gf which is understandable. I'm really happy I got this instead of the iPhone 13 Pro max

You're welcome - I think the battery life on the S22 regular will be poorer than the S21 FE. The only advantage you will have with the S22 will be with camera and build quality. Assuming you will be getting the Snapdragon version of the FE, perhaps the S21 FE is the better choice. Between the S21 FE and S22+, I'd say go with the S22+.

Sir I am getting S21 Fe around Rs 52,000/- and Oneplus 9 pro(12+256 GB variant) at rs 54,000/- and S21 plus(8+128 GB) at 58,000/- . I am a bit confused about which one to pick among them. Please guide me on which one to go with, my main use would be a camera, media consumption, and gaming. please reply
For camera and media consumption, the S21+ would be a solid option. If camera is less important, you could go for the S21 FE. The OnePlus 9 Pro with its Snapdragon processor will be decent for gaming but I don’t think the trade-offs in camera are worth it.

It works pretty well actually. I haven't tried the S22 series extensively which is apparently way better with Snapchat but the S21FE was fine for the most part. I do think though that when using Instagram's native editor for Reels, there is a chance the smartphone heats up and stutters, which is one of the problems I occasionally faced.
I have s21fe with snapdragon 888. Its definitely great phone and I love it. Photos looks realy good, system is smooth and displey looks good too. Only problem with snaptragon 888 version is battery. I got 4 or maybe in some situations 5 hours screen on time. This is one thing I realy hate.
I understand. Try using the wireless fast charging stand. When not in use, instead of putting it on the table you put it in the stand instead. Also, try using a 2m charging cable. You can fast charge your phone even if the power socket is quite far from you.
Just wondering whats better for gaming, the S20 FE 5G with a snapdragon 865 or the S21 FE 5G with an Exynos 2100, I live in australia so thats why its not the sd 888, also disregard price, i have both of them available for the same price
I think the Exynos 2100 is better in terms of power as it's a generational improvement. I do think though that most games will be optimised better for Snapdragon chips. I've had the S20 FE and it too has had micro stutter issues and lag with Snapdragon 865 so if I was you, I'd stick to to the newer S21 FE.

Quite surprising to see battery SOT till 7 hours. I have s21 fe with exynos and it max went to 5 hours SOT with AOD off, single SIM etc. Would you please share any extra battery saving techniques/settings you have applied?
No extra technique whatsoever. I've used it with AOD, 120Hz, dual-SIM and half brightness indoors, full brightness when required. Also used it heavily on some days with WiFi/5G.

After few days of usage with AOD off and edge notif off there's none felt. Super smooth performance and completely relate with the video. Any specifics would you like to know do let me know.

That issue seems a bit odd! But yes, the FE hits all grounds well. Perhaps the S22+' only advantage is that camera. Glad you're enjoying your phone! 🙏

Thanks! 7 hours SOT after the first week of usage, consistently. It was all at 120Hz, never dropped down to 60Hz.

s21 plus. it has 4800 mah i believe and it switches 48hz to 120 hz based on the content. so definitely good battery life

Yes. The S22 and the S21 FE have the same aspect ratio of 19.5:9. You can see it on the Samsung website.

Is there a smartphone that doesn't lag? mine is old and lags with whataspp :(
Typically, a smartphone with an octa core processor and 8GB of RAM in combination with optimized software will not lag when using daily applications.

Really screen on time is 7 hrs, I heard battery life is not so good on s21fe. If its 7 hrs planning to buy it

Anyone knows why there's a lag in video coming up while forwarding in UA-cam videos? Sound comes fine, just the video freezes for a second sometimes before playing back again.
Could be a UA-cam glitch, I've noticed it too.

Found this fixed by giving UA-cam all permissions. Haven't faced this issue since then.

I'm using s21 fe and first few days I'm very upset with the purchase bcuz of 120hz refresh rate issue but right now I'm very happy with s21 fe cuz samsung fixed that issue completely but twitter app had the issue even twitter website also have the same issue what can i do for it...it's a twitter prblm or phones prblm pls tell me
