Great phone! Have had this phone since release. I highly recommend if you're after a decent android device that's very close to a mainline flagship! It's still getting One UI 6. I cannot wait for one more year of support!
It'll still get support upto Android 16 i.e One UI 8. This phone is way better than midrangers like the A54.
Had the s21 fe, currently have the s23 ultra and NGL I miss my s21 fe I like the flat 2x dynamic amoled display not a big fan of the curved screen but can't beat those cameras on the ultra

Hey, thanks for the review and I really like that it has a polycarbonate plastic back. It makes the phone a lot easier to carry in your pocket. It’s just lighter and it also makes it less breakable. Honestly I don’t know why we ever went to glass on the back of phones it’s not really a smart idea just means there’s two sides of the phone that can break but anyway yeah I just picked one of these up in mint condition for $200 soyou’re looking for a used phone that still we’re skating. I would highly recommend this phone.

The battery life wasn't that great when I had it last year with One UI 5.0 Hopefully One UI 5.1 resolved that issue.

This phons was great if you wanted 3 to 3.5 hrs sot. If you turned off aod, auto mail fetch, 5G and no gaming with 120 htz display your cluld hit 7 hrs. Or at least in my usage.
Get the s21+ for around $250 but 1 advantage it has is that it will get 3 more android update and 4 years of security update and what I hate about Samsung is they don't support the entire line up and base it off the year giving their budget phones an advantage, it makes no sense this gets more updates than s21 ultra yes newer but it's meant to be a dumbed down so it's weird that they still give their budget model 4-5 updates, like they should support the s21 series for a year longer as long as s22 series and the s20 series should get one ui 6 because of the galaxy tab s7 fe being the budget model get android 14 and it has the same hardware as tab s7 and so s7 should get extra year, same with the s10 series it should've gotten one ui 5 because the s10 lite note 10 lite and tab s6 lite got android 13, so for being the for expensive model they should give it the advantage saying we promise atleats 4 major os and give their more expensive models 5 major os matching them to their lite variant I don't think the lite variant should get more update just cause it's newer their is a reason we paid so much more for the premium models or don't launch the budget variant with a fresh new android update.
Yeaaa it doesn't really make any sense but it will make sense when you take into account their release date. Both S21 FE and Tab S7 FE were released 1 year late from their series, hence making them eligible for an extra year of update. You may already know this but I'll just put it here for others to know
@Josuke i don't know if you read my comment carefully, but I said despite it being a year newer it's still a dumbed down variant so instead of them giving the dumbed variant the extra advantage for being a year newer they should announce atleast 4 major updates and support the entire line up and drop them together rather than basing off on the amount of year of end the dumbed down variant short, we paid premium price so we should get the extra advantage, yes the s21 fe came out with s22 software and the s20 fe with s21 software it's Samsung fault for releasing their dumbed down variant a bit late with newer Android version instead they should've either release their fe 2-3 months after the flagship or they should like I said for example the s10 series and tab s6 the entire line up should've gotten one ui 5 while dropping the entire s10 line up, note 10 line, zfold and tab s6 line up on one ui 6, the s20 line up, note 20 line, zflip and zfold 2 up tab s7 line up should get one ui 6 while dropping the entire lime up on one ui 7 and the s21 series because of the fe models should get one ui 8 and since the s22 doesn't have an fe or any sequel releasing a year later they should drop the s21 series, z line from 2021 and 2022 and the tab s8 line up all at once something like that should be done, when u think about Apple, they base it on their line up whether or not a device comes out many years later iPod touch 7ᵗʰ came out 3 years after iPhone 7 but they didn't go ahead and give that thing 3 more ios they dropped it at the sametime as an iPhone 7, it just makes sense to make it on the line up instead of the # of years.

I was picking between the A54 and S21-FE last month...ended up with the A54...it was way cheaper, but the clincher was the fact that the A54 has an SD card. 128GB is just not enough anymore, popped in my 512GB SD card, and I have just enough space for pics and videos. But, honestly, if the S21-FE had an SD-Card it would've been my choice. W/O expandable storage it's like comparing an Acura NSX Type-S with a 2Gallon Tank(S21-FE) to a Honda Civic Si with a 12 Gallon Tank (A54). If someone doesn't care about storage, then the S21-FE, appears to be the far better phone.
Also, thanks for the Amazon Listing, I'd like to get an S21-FE for some emulation and Android gaming.
well happy for you id sd cards means to you. But not gonna lie after s9 , i havent really needed sd cards. I feel that systems file compression is much better now days that even 18000 pictures i still havent used half of my 256 storage.

The S21 FE Snapdragon is a real hidden gem, in addition, it still has 4 years of software tracking ahead of it.
It's clearly a much better buy than a Pixel 7/7a or an A54.
Pixel...no, and maybe better than the A54 but it lacks a whole lot with only 6 GB of RAM. I would buy the Note 10+ first before buying this phone

The battery is average. Keep a charger nearby or power brick because even on standby it eats battery.
The S20 Ultra no longer has an update, if you can raise your budget a bit, go for an S21 Plus/Ultra instead.
