Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon is one of my favourite games so I was exited for the remaster luckily it was on switch this time we all remember the 1st games remaster
I love Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, the HD version was honestly something to be expected if Nintendo would discontinue online for 3ds and wii u. That said, I think the game itself is fine, they didn't do much sure, but also didn't ruin it either. The visuals are fine, except that some of Luigi's expressions (mostly in the cutscenes) just look unnatural to me. Specifically the eyebrows, idk why but it's disturbing when they move around
I bought this game on launch day and still agree that it's severely over priced even before I bought it tbh. $60 is quite a bit of money and for a 10 year old 3DS game with barely any touch ups makes it a hard sell, especially compared to nearly every other remaster or port Nintendo has done. But I mean I still love the game even despite it's flaws and plus it let's me play ScareScraper again so I had to buy it (and to finally beat that stupid ice boss after never getting past it when I was younger) but I don't blame people who think it's not worth it and lazy (because it is), but in my opinion it's still quite a fun time and people who haven't played the og game ever or in a while should pick it up (when it gets a price drop of course)
I’m getting 2 HD (and 3) soon as I never played the 3DS version but have played the first game cause it seems really and there’s no such thing as too much ghost busting with Luigi or too much Luigi for that matter. Luigi is always a win

i think the graphics and the feel of the controls are better, but that doesn't make the price justified. maybe i shouldn't be focused too hard on it, but honestly i'm focused on the game breaking bugs/disconnects and crashes. especially in scarescraper. sure, keyglitch (or keyvin as i call it) is gone or rarer but i've encountered a lot of annoying bugs and disconnects/crashes lately. can get annoying when going for 99F. but again, maybe i'm too focused on the bad. it just feels like they should've fixed these if they were gonna do a high price (especially after all the waiting) without new content/qol updates. really all they did was port the game, maybe fixed a few bugs but that's about it.
That's fair, for the price they have it at more could've been done. Scarescaper bugs can suck, not to mention not being able to join mid-session is stupid. If they had at least one new feature here the price could somewhat be justified (would have be a really good addition), but with this releasing after Mario VS Donkey Kong and Paper Mario TTYD, it sucks seeing what Tantalus didn't improve here.
