I just bought it again to replay it yesterday on the xbox. To me it has less jankyness than all Sonic games after, and it feels so much better to play too. And even with the aged graphics, the colors and designs are even better for everything in the game than the modern games. Another Modern games L and 2000 games W

This at least the GameCube version was my first ever video game i played when i was 4 years old. I got really addicted in early 2007 when I was 8 and beat every level except for King Boom Boo and Finalhazard. I remember getting early dismissal from first grade one day and spending the rest of the day playing this game

Had this one back in the days. Super fun game. In 2025 it looks all right, but back then it was the closest anyone could get having the full arcade experience from the comfort of their homes. It was way ahead of its time and truly the coolest thing to have. I bought the Switch version of a reboot of Crazy Taxi last year and it looks much better, but didn't come close to the original. Not sure if that's the fault of the new game or just time spoiling me with much better looking and much funner games. But the memory of playing the original with my friends back then will stick with me forever.

Great video, enjoyed watching the trip down memory lane! Had one about 20 years ago. Sold it (including 30 games) 2 joysticks and 2 memory devices for $200 all-in. That would have made me a fortune these days😂. Some of the games i had are solely worth more than that by now. But i don't care about that. All i care for is the great memories I have of it. One of the best consoles ever made. Enjoy it!

It's worth noting that burned discs actually cause more wear to the laser, as the compression methods used to fit GD-ROM files onto a CD-ROM disc stress out how the laser reads discs, since it's not reading the disc the same way as it would a GD-ROM disc.

SA2 was good. Eggman and tails had good levels. Sonic and shadows were best. Knuckles and rouge were lame, but at least the music was decent.

I haven't played Video Games since the early 2000's. Are all of the Games now purchased online and downloaded directly into the Game Console, or do they still sell actual Game Discs at Stores?...or both.

12:59 Actually, yes luck. There is a way of getting online with the Dreamcast using Dreampi. The dreamcastic channel has a good tutorial on how to get it to work.

For these prices it's better to buy the optical drive replacement but they are often out of stock

Buying things online never had any issue with and buying off eBay they have a policy that if it’s not the right thing you just report it and it’ll get right but over the years of buying retro consoles I’ve gotten pretty good at not getting scammed just make sure if you look at the bottom where details be they ethier tell you specifics about the console I bought a Xbox 360 with a zephyr board. That’s how they were describing it. You almost can't go wrong with buying games for the Dreamcast, a ludicrous amount of games for it are just good. Buy literally anything and odds are you'll be happy with it.
