First time seeing you on UA-cam and I love the sound! Can’t wait to explore the rest of your music/videos!!! I’ve been diving into the world of synth and synth wave but my background has always been guitar - always awesome to see someone who can bring both worlds together!
Thanks man, appreciate it! Interesting, for me it's been the other way around: long time keyboard player with just a bit of casual, self-taught guitar playing experience as a teenager coming back to the instrument after a 15+ year hiatus. What kind of music do you usually jam to?
I really like the guitar, it's less distorted and more percussive, although the volume consistency of the lead synth lets the groove of the bass shine a bit more. I think the guitar fits the song better but they both sound amazing. Good job!
Hey thanks! And I just now realized I misspelled your name in the thanks message at the end of the video 🤦 I apologize. On the next video it will be spelled correctly 🙏
Wait tho, now I'm confused: here on the comment it says "Babby-Astro" with a double "b", but on my analytics page it says "Baby-Astro", with a single "b"... Which one would you prefer I used?
It's a Series A from the mid 80's. They were a Canadian brand building clones of other famous guitars of the time. This one in particular emulates the G-707 by Roland
