The fact that Nate feels comfortable not being there, and letting y’all run the show under his name says so much about y’all and how he feels about y’all. And he was right! Love the podcast fellas.
I'm not exaggerating, I could physically feel the blood rush to my face and my tummy sank when Aaron opened saying that he and Dusty cut ties. Broke my heart. Glad it was a "joke."
It’s called “c.o.m.e.d.y.” underscored, as Nate explained after belittling Brian’s TV news experience. So that helps; otherwise we wouldn’t know this put-down humor was funny at all.
What would honor Dusty more than a Nateland conspiracy theory about Dusty? I mean, my bestie cousin encountered Dusty at the Chattanooga post office. I'm just saying, I don't know WHERE Dusty is...
Having Mike on the podcast is always such a treat! He makes me laugh so much. His comment on the San Diego Zoo “cover charge” was great. “If I’m paying $70 to get into a zoo, I want an armadillo parking my car and I want to have lunch with a cheetah”.
Breakfast is slingin’ zingers right out of the gate in this episode, and I love it. The T is really starting to up his confidence, it’s only a matter of time until he’s challenging the other guys to arm wrestle during the ad reads…slowly turning into Izzy Mandelbaum from Seinfeld.
@@jjbreck2628I've often wondered, because of the way Nate treats the other guys, how long Dusty will stay on the crew. Dusty seems to have a strong will and I don't believe he's the type to bend over and take too much of Nate's shit. I think Dusty would be the first to walk if Nate pushes him too far.
Hey, everyone! Here rocking my 24hr old newborn. I’ve never been so early to a ‘sode. 😂 This definitely helps the sleep deprivation. Looking forward to this dynamic of these three goofs.
Congrats. I just had one 3 months ago.. Make sure you get lots of rest and switch off with each other frequently. 😅 Between 1-3 months is probably one of the harder times.
Wow! Normally when Nate is out of town we give the BAND a hard time about it being like the kids when dad is away. This week felt like uncle came to town while dad was gone and then all kinds of crazy stuff like offering the kids beer, etc.
@@davidjoyner2524I completely agree!! They seem so much... lighter when Nate's gone. For a while I was beginning to question why he had that moniker of "the nicest guy in comedy", he can be so rough to these guys sometimes!
Love the show! The biggest compliment I can give Nate is that my wife, who has never been a stand-up fan LOVES him. More than once I’ve laughed so hard I’ve cried during Nate’s specials. The bit about Harper still sleeping in bed with them hits too close to home and “you called the dad” ending are just two times I’ve lost it. Can’t wait to see Nate in OKC in a few weeks. We’ll be there!
Love Mike!! Love when the gang is all together, but also love the guests. Always a great podcast regardless. Not that you guys need to hear this, but keep doing what y’all are doing.
Talking about favourite quotes from shawshank redemption. Mine is when Andy says,” The funny thing is, on the outside, I was an honest man, straight as an arrow. I had to come to prison to be a crook”. Very ironic. Boys, I enjoy listening to you guys each week, keep it up mate.
My great aunt was a member of Mensa. She unfortunately died relatively early. Being very proud, her husband had “Our Mensa” inscribed on her tombstone. He eventually died 15 or so years later. On his tombstone, he had inscribed “Mensa Shmensa.” He didn’t tell anyone beforehand. So at the funeral, we got to witness the progression as each person in the crowd slowly realized the joke so many years in the making. Love the show. Thanks.
I almost didn't watch today since 2 members of the BAND are missing but I'm so glad I did! Mike is great! But, no more jokes about Dusty being gone for good. My heart legitimately sank for a second!
The BAM was on fire today! Watched it on my own and then with my husband. Hilarious both times and the second time I caught even more bits that I didn’t notice the first time.
I like to picture Nate seeing this podcast and wondering how they got into his house when he was not home. Also, Aaron, have you fixed the hole in your drywall yet? You brought it up a while ago but never gave an update.
I was at Magooby’s Joke House tonight. I was hanging out after the show and overhear two guys talking. First guy says you know who’s the funniest white dude? As he’s searching for the name I just knew he was thinking of Nate. All of a sudden he shouts “Nick Bargeezy!” At this point I jumped in and said “you talking bout Nate?” He goes “yeah Nate! He don’t curse or nothing! He’s the funniest man!” His buddy goes: how do you spell that last name? I said B…A…R…then just bailed and said “the special is called Hello World”
Daaang… Aaron is coming in hot today! I was so expecting Brian to come back with “and that’s new how?” when asked about carrying the show. Good stuff - great job representing team A-A-Ron!
Came back to watch this episode and with about 15 minutes left I can say this has been a top favorite episode! Nateland always has me laughing but this had me laughing out loud a lot!. I almost felt Aaron’s presence behind me, hand on my shoulder saying, “Enough!”
Archimedes is my favorite genius. He helped defend the city of Syracuse from the Romans. Allegedly, he used mirrors to cause Roman ships to burst into flames and cranes to lift them out of the water before dropping them. In grade school, I wrote an essay about things I liked (including Archimedes). My teacher asked if Archimedes was a TV show. I was crestfallen to think the woman who was supposed to teach me had no idea who Archimedes was. Maybe if he had a TV show, he could have been mentioned in this episode. I'll go proofread this now.
My wife and I went to Aaron's show in San Antonio and brought friends with us! My ribs still hurt from laughing. I told him after the show that I had a comment read on the podcast recently and he said "Really, what comment?" My mind completely blanked and all I could say was "Bus Route" (my name for Brian) He obviously had no idea what I was talking about and said "Oh okay". My wife and friends made fun of me the rest of the night. I imagine Bus Stop has had many moments like this when talking to his idols.
With Mike stepping in and his own podcast shutting down. Really felt he was auditioning for a spot on Nateland. I think he blew it when he said People from Alabama have no dads. You could see Aaron doing a "Note to self Note to Nate" dont get this guy back on the show .LOL.
That US citizens comment Mike made was no joke. My mom came here when she was about 6 months old. About 2 years ago she started the process and studied for over 9 months for the test. When she went in the guy helping her took one look at her file and told her she’s been here so long that he’s not even going to test her. She had nervous breakdowns worrying about that test. Best to be prepared I suppose.
Nate is about to come back like a dad that says “I’m just disappointed…” with this PG-13 talk. Its going to be the tattoo talk all over again. Mike is an amazing add to the pod. Love the little edgy-ness to the conversation! I guess it’s a classic, “when Dad (Nate) is away, we need to play.”
When you guys said "street smarts" a few times, I couldn't help but think of John Mulaney's great bit about learning Chicago street smarts from a juvenile homicide detective while in elementary school. Please tell me you have heard of this!

I took my first cold shower today. It was really difficult at first but I ate the frog. I don't know if I can do it daily, but maybe now and then for sure. Thanks for the great episode, I hope to see y'all one day on the comedy road.
I love how this podcast constantly makes me laugh and brings a huge smile to my face. Also I was looking to buy an AaronLand t-shirt online but couldn’t find them, I’ll have to wait to get mine when I see Aaron’s Stand-up in person. 😊
We want Dusty! We want Dusty! 😂😂 picture me in a mob with a pitch fork with overalls on 😂😂 I don't like when he's gone Edit: episode was pretty funny.. I loved it! Still wish Dusty was here but you guys did great! Just took me about 5 minutes to get over it 🤣
Please make a list of the movies you mentioned. I'm too lazy to watch again and take notes! I have not seen them all, but your excitement made me want to see them!
I think it’s ironically funny that Nate had such a great bit about spoiler alert for “The Sixth Sense” and while he’s gone y’all basically re-enacted the whole movie Shawshank….no wonder Nate doesn’t feel like he needs to watch the actual movie! Was this actually an episode about geniuses? Hmm…😂 Loved you all. “Brains on Testosterone’s” jabs. Vecchione is hilarious! Aaron had me worried like Breakfast would be with the joke about Dusty though.
40% of the people in the area have a 100% chance of seeing rain is the same as having a 40% chance of seeing rain in that area. I honestly think it makes more sense to say it the second way, because there isn't a 100% chance that 40% will see rain. Now I can say that there's a 100% chance papers will be stacked in the episode, but I can also say there's a 100% chance it's going to happen during Aaronland.
During the IQ test, I was just thinking "Oh God, how long is this gonna go on", then a minute later Aaron goes alright this is boring, that's enough lol
Claude have mercy! Great to see Mr Vecchione make his return. Mike showed up like a pad of butter... ON A ROLL! Hope Dusty can return soon, but until then "We're still having a good time". Mike Vecchione and his "I'm hip, I'm cool" talk is giving off Dr. Evil vibes haha! Also, I need some more reassurance that Dusty is still coming back. That joke had me shook
Saw Nate's show in Baltimore this weekend. What an awesome show!!!! The best comic going with breakfast a close second. Was excited to see Nick Novicki and Justin Smith as well. Keep doing your thing Nate
I am finally catching up on recent episodes and just listened to the School episode and I must say, Dusty your point about the earth is spot on! This is a thought that I've had for a long time as well. Yes, to the ant you would look extremely fast which is exactly the point why being like the size of an ant in comparison to the earth should feel like the earth is moving extremely fast. But it doesn’t. If we were the size of the earth only then would we say it's moving extremely slow. But we’re not. We are tiny and just like the ant saying we are moving very fast, we too should experience the earth moving very fast. But we don’t. I smell a cover up..
Actually it's the opposite. If you look down at any you see that it moves rapidly and covers an amount of space related to its size. If the ant looks at you you'll appear to move slowly because you take up so much space that he can see
Woo hoo! We're coming from Newfoundland, Canada to see Nate in NYC next week and were absolutely THRILLED to discover that you are opening for him Mike! We just had "special" t-shirts made to wear to the show based on your "special" - The Attractives. We watch it regularly and we still laugh out loud every time and now quote it in daily conversation. So glad you were a guest on this episode! P.S. We are also looking forward to seeing Nate on stage. 😂😊😂😊😂😊
A T Shirt that I would like to have is one for “High T Bates.” He was taking shots at Mike and Aaron left and right. Loving the new high T energy from Breakfast.
I join the many others in the comments who were distressed at Aaron's joke about Dusty being off the podcast. Mike seemed to be genuinely shocked at what Aaron was saying which gave it added credibility. Aaron should have ended with a clear disclaimer and sent get well wishes to Dusty, IMO. That would have made it somewhat funny, maybe.
Like Nate, I haven’t watched the Shawshank Redemption yet, and hadn’t felt the need to.. and after listening to the guys hashing out their favorite scenes, I am now convinced that I really don’t have to. 😂😂
My daughter and I took my grandson to a hot wheels monster truck show last month, in Jacksonville Florida. They started off with doing the pledge. I was really surprised, but also impressed
The fact that Nate feels comfortable not being there, and letting y’all run the show under his name says so much about y’all and how he feels about y’all. And he was right! Love the podcast fellas.
No podcast=No ads=Less income. 😂😂

I agree. She would be a perfect guest and she lives in the same city!
I just love it when Mike is on the podcast, his deadpan delivery is genius! He’s awesome live too!

Where's dusty!
Looks like we have a keeper!! BB and Aaron have taken over Nateland and did GREAT!
Dusty being gone is a joke I hope. Please say it ain’t so. 😢
My daughter and I took my grandson to a hot wheels monster truck show last month, in Jacksonville Florida. They started off with doing the pledge. I was really surprised, but also impressed
mike grows on me immensely every time I see him on here
