I have the Ravin crossbows serving fluid non-wax polymeric lubricant. Do i use this ONLY on the center serving? Do i need a wax for the rest of the string? I’m new to crossbow hunting.
When I try to shoot my ravin crossbow it won’t go off when I pull the trigger, Then it will go off when I’m not ready for it to. Is this due to dust?? Or what??
That doesn't surprise me. I sent Ravin a question about using a broadhead more than 100 grains since their bolts are on the edge of being under spined for the R29X and got no answer at all. They seemed to be worried about losing a dime to another company that might make a better bolt than theirs which I believe are Black Eagle bolts so when you try to get someone to make you a custom bolt sometimes you get the run around about not being able to shoot anything but their bolts or use only their strings and cables. Crock of beans in my opinion.
@@dheller777 strings, cables, and arrows are a consumable product.....meaning they wear out. I can't see how Ravin can legally have a disclaimer voiding their warranty if a comparable string, cable, or arrow is of the same or better quality. I'm researching this to see if they can be sued for not honoring warranty for using comparable quality items.

What do you do if the frame keeps coming loose? There are 2 allen screws in stock that i have had to tighten.

Is it recommended to lubricate the cams time to time? If so, what kind of oil should be used? Thank you!
Do NOT do this.
My R29 manual says never wax string only use oil on serving surface.
