I actually think this series will be spectacular! I have always wondered what it takes to become ready to be on a competitive TV show like this. What steps do you take and what knowledge do you need to obtain before beginning a stressful journey like that. This is cool and never been done before! 🥳

My father was a shrimper and would go out to the gulf of mexico for about 30 days and brought back AMAZING shrimp!! Omg sooo good!! I’m soo blessed to have grown up with wild caught shrimp

the shrimp story you told is why i am so passionate about supporting local farmers and suppliers here in america. thats why i love that you are doing this vlog series. full transparency of where each ingredient comes from but also bringing awareness about food health and how farming (like shrimp farming) is so toxic and how it is completely ruining local businesses/farmers that deserve recognition

I'm excited for this series because we'll be able to see how you improve as a chef. As well as learn for ourselves how to do higher end dishes and source the ingredients we need. I think this is a great idea. Especially seeing the behind the scenes of how they're sourced and the interviews with the chefs.

This is such a cool series, and would absolutely LOVE to see you kick ass on Masterchef!! Also, being from south Louisiana, it was SO cool to see you show the trawl boats and educate your viewers on the tragedy of shrimp farming. Down here on the bayou, shrimping is a way of life for so many of us, and to get paid pennies on the dollar for their hard work is just heartbreaking, and it’s ultimately diminishing the Cajun way of life. AWESOME start to the series!!

I love this idea! I love seeing you actually go out into your community to source the ingredients, and I think it will be cool to see what it actually takes to prepare for a show like Master Chef (which my husband and I was religiously!). I would also love to see your take on some of these recipes if you have ideas on ways you think you could make them better. Excited for future episodes!

you talking about the shrimp industry literally made my day. as a louisianian, and former delcambre shrimp festival queen, it really is SUCH an issue and not talked about nearly enough.
imagine if Popeyes, LOUISIANA CAJUN CUISINE, actually used louisiana seafood. that alone would make a huge, positive impact on the industry and our health.

Loved this!! You make cooking seem so much more doable for some reason lol I have only really started diving into learning to cook and your 101 videos helped me so much.
