I love these watches. I think the two Snoopy's are a home run. I'm also excited about the three new releases especially the Lava. That one may be my all time favorite.

The moonphase complication is no principally different than any other watch just very small in size. You just have to know that dial moves clockwise to figure out is the moomphase growing or diminishing. What they messed up with the black version is the moon age indicator scale. For reasons unknown they decided to flip the mask covering the Moon icon 90 degrees but forgot to turn the age numerical scale the same way. The result is that on black version dial says that moon is 0 days old when it is full moon🤦‍♂️ Really embarassing for Swatch , in my opinion

I’d rather buy a Chinese knockoff automatic watch with a Japanese movement and sapphire crystal for 100 bucks than buy one of these.

You're missing the point. These are completely different watches. These watches scream fun not utilitarian function. You can have both you know. It doesn't have to be one or the other.
