Right at this moment...Dec 22 2020...my kids are getting an education in the GREATEST southern rock...no....not southern rock...just plain good ol AMERICAN rock music in the HISTORY of America. May the lord bless us all as we move forward in this world and we pray the better angels of our nature prevail. With this music...our family will...and we will spread the love.
Funny how more popular the band gets the bigger the stage gets. I’ll take Tommy, Toy, Jerry etc all standing next to each other jammin. Just like the brothers. Those were the days.
RIP Charlie saw one of your last shows in yarmouth ma drive in it was a 6 band show and Charlie killed it on guitar no fiddle but he was great just a wonderful presence
Holy Shit lol....this is the first time I have EVER heard or seen this....what a dynamic duo right here'...was always told that he was in Spartanburg SC for Toy Caldwell's funeral and I know now that this had to be true ... magical and just plain awesome....
@@blakenorman4822 Loved going to the Beacon when I worked as a copy editor in the sports department at the Herald-Journal in the mid-80's. Say hi to J.C. and order a chili cheeseburger A-PLENTY with a sweet tea!!!!
I will be forever grateful I got to see them live in 1975 at Southern llinois University when I was in school here. So sad that the band is all just about dead. Frigging cocaine killed Toy, the heart of the band.
@@michaelpartridge2122 your so right, it seemed toy learned on his brother more than anybody thought. I met toy one night at a bar after a concert, he was looking for some
Who could dislike this?! Must be one damn fine show up in Heaven with Toy, Tommy and Charlie.
Cost of that show "priceless"!
And Tommy Crain and Taz!
@@brianboyle5934 SRV ALSO
I would never dislike but it’s not the same. If you can’t see that, well….
The loss of Charlie and Toy was the end of a great era.
Man, I miss Toy so much.

Toy one one of a kind player, you hear it you knew who it was.

WAS AT THIS CONCERT AND AN S.I.U-C ALUMNI 76-80 SAW A BUNCH OF GREAT SHOWS! THERE
Toy was great but tommy was the glue that kept the band together. When he died the band started its slow death.

We’ll never again see the likes of this.
