I love where you say at 2.47 to not go looking for your issues. It completely rings true and I can relate. Twelve years ago my head was full of things to overcome and I decided to write a list of all the things I wanted to change about myself, for example anxiety, perfectionism, low self esteem, defensiveness. That way it wouldn’t all be swirling around in my mind and I thought I’d be able to prioritise them and then work away at one thing at a time until I was amazing. Unfinished at seven foolscap pages I was ready for bed. The next day I decided that what they all had in common was self-judgement and feelings of unworthiness and I worked on that instead. I am loving your work Damon and can only imagine who and where I’ll be when I’m finished learning from you and doing the exercises. Thank you. Life changing.
Thank you for the kind words. Yes, it's much easier to start with what's right with you and focus on creating more of what you want. Obstacles and limitations will arise as you move forward. Deal with them as they come up. Resolve them as is needed to become who you want to be and create the life that you want to live.
Just read this at the right time! I have also written down all the things that I want to change about myself. I was thinking that maybe there is something else like a believe of unworthiness. Every day I am becoming more an more aware of the pattern of unworthiness in every aspect of my life. To anyone who reads this: I am wishing you all the best in your journey of Self-Awareness. ❤️
Another great and informative video. I want to go back to making a lot of money but I "believe" I will be giving up my time and life to working and not enjoying my life. I took a business course to learn how to turn my work into a real business and I realized how I had to become a marketing-machine and I thought "no, I can't be that".
This has been a VERY helpful video !!! I've been looking for a way to "fix" myself (I'm stuck, have been stuck for a VERY LONG TIME). I've watched a lot of videos, paid for courses, books, etc... - this way the 1st time limiting beliefs were defined, identified, and explained how to "fix" them without paying $50 or suffering through many hours of dry lectures - and still had no answers !!! This was truly helpful - I will watch this video again and go through the steps of identifying and fixing my limiting beliefs --- Thanks very much !
This is super, thanks Damon. I'm learning the tibetan practice of Chöd which they call "feeding your demons", and the aim isn't to fight the internal causes of your problems, but instead you personify them, welcome them, talk to them and give them what it is they actually want. This is very similar and fits in perfectly with that.
I always believed that I hadn't earned the right to have a serious love because I don't have a tragic backstory or trauma in my past. I have been so very lucky, but it has given me a bit of imposter syndrome in many areas of my life. Thank you for making me think about this. I feel worthy again for the first time in a long time
@@DamonCartthat’s my favourite thing I red today! You’re the first person to see it that way too - I myself just never understood the idea of worth/self worth and still don’t really, I swear I just don’t get what it’s about or what it implies, and thus..I just don’t struggle with it. And seeing how much people do struggle with it, I‘m pretty grateful that I simply never allowed this concept in my mind so it just doesn’t exist. There sure are things I really dislike about myself, a lot of habits I want to change, I‘m pretty sure there’s tons of people who would dislike me (as a lot who would not), but accounting any of that to any worth..doesn’t seem like topics that are even close to each other.
Love all of your videos so much. I'm doing a coaching certification and an NLP course but I always come to your videos when I've gone through an exercise to have it explained in a much more easily understandable way! Almost as though I didn't need to spend the money on the courses haha!
I do have a limiting belief about money. I know it's from childhood because I had to hear excuses from my father that he doesn't have money to give to me from necessary stuff. My brother on the other hand, knew how to get large amounts from my father!! He had money and I knew that, but just not for me!!
This actually helped me survive a catastrophizing episode recently and have like a mini breakthrough!! Discovered the channel recently; literally any video with this guy you click is gonna be good content! and much respect that his gf in Romanian, we are the best 😎
I believe patterns of behaviour are a function of some un-resolved trauma during various life stage development; My own father suffered from immaturity or the absence of adult competency; This is what was modeled to me and nearly cost me my first marriage. By happenstance a caring person helped me identify what i was doing as an unconscious pattern. Helped a lot; allowed me to re-pay child support without all the drama!
That's good to hear. Patterns of behavior can also be positive and learned from good role models. Not all patterns of behavior come from trauma. Limiting and negative patterns of behavior tend to come from trauma but even those don't always come from unresolved trauma.
-Establish your desire, What you need to do and become to do that. -Ask what stops you from doing ir becoming what is needed. -what would it be like if it were possible? -what would it be like if it were possible, for me? -what is my resistance to this trying to tell me? -if thats what i dont want what do i want instead?
Over the past year I have identified a couple of self limiting beliefs which I'm struggling to change. Firstly, I've been single for 4 years and have dated lots of guys who string me along and then lose interest, it has led me to create this story I tell myself which is "I can't get a boyfriend if I tried"/"all men will eventually lose interest in me" and I reinforce this belief by dating/choosing people who it'll never work out with (unavailable people). The second is that my parents don't care about me. I have traced this back to things like.. being 10/11 in school and them not wanting to collect me from school when it is raining, whereas other kids parents are doing so. Conversely, I don't struggle with work/business goals or sport, for example, because my internalised beliefs about these are pretty good - I honestly believe I am good at most/all sports and that I am naturally good at business related things. I now realise that these beliefs are most of the reason I succeed at them. On the surface I know these negative beliefs are objectively not true, I have had prior boyfriends and my parents often do things to show they care, but I'm not sure how to crack these, any tips?
I have more than tips. I teach an entire structure for changing limiting beliefs. The most powerful and biggest belief you have is your self-concept. When you understand the structure of it, then you can transform it. Do that and your life will never be the same again. The levels of fulfillment are endless.
Life Mastery Gym can you please explain further on the self concept? I have always had no issue attracting relationships but then they just seem to all ghost or disappear for no reason. I think it could be some belief if I’m not worthy/wanted or good enough and then it shows up. I want to change this. I want a healthy relationship. Please let me know.
Damon, I reaaly like your videos and this one, too. A related question. How can one discover his/her main core beliefs? What route would one take to discover one's own?
Your core beliefs are going to be the beliefs about who you are, the beliefs that make up your identity. We call these qualities as in aspects of who you believe yourself to be. Examples are "I am an optimist. I am a pessimist. I am a failure. I am successful. I am happy. I am miserable." etc. I suggest you take something you want to accomplish and elicit your values from it. Then ask yourself if you are each value as a quality of who you are. For example, if I want to buy a house and one of the values I elicit from wanting a house is peace, then I would ask myself if I'm at peace. The answer will be yes, no, or somewhat. Now you know one of your core beliefs and to what degree you believe you are what you value or you believe you are the opposite of what you value. I've done many videos about Self-Concept and values elicitation. I go into deeper explanations in those videos about how to do this.
Is wonderful information my friend! The way you presented is super relatable. Absolutely are loving your content so far. Please continue with your work. 🙌🏼
Thanks for the response. Any tips to manage the anxiety that comes with this problem. I want to change and move forward but my anxiety gets so high that I feel like I cant decide. I know its a pattern and loop so action will cure this as well?
It seems like you keep pre-thinking obstacles before you're taking action. There are a number of NLP processes you can use, but first just take an action instead of saying to yourself that you don't know what you want and that you'll have anxiety. If you're thinking these things before you take action, you're never going to take action.
Thanks demon. I have been watching your videos for quite some time and they really make sense. It has opened up a while new world of possibilities for me and my clients. Your videos are so maticulous, easy to understand and follow. You also make us aware of small nitty-gritties. It saves a lot of time and efforts and makes technique very easy to apply. I am really thankful to the contribution your are making to the humanity. Lots of love and good wishes to you❤😊
@@DamonCart I am extremely sorry for the typo, Damon. But for me you are 'The NLP Guru'. Your videos makes much sense to me then any other practitioner's. Thanks.
I have a potentially limiting belief that if I click on links from people I know I can trust it will be best compared with clicking embedded links with hardly known entities. I shall have to wait. Thank you. All the best.
Thank you very much for your explanation. I have been trying for so long to figure out why I feel guilty every time I was calling rent. (I was renting a house, all is ok with it, rent is average, and I fixed anything the tenant needed, but every month I had to deal with this huge sense of guilt. It was not too long when the tenant stop making payments, and stopped taking my calls. We are in eviction process now, but I feel I attracted that because of my feeling of guilt -even when I was doing nothing wrong- What is my unconscious believe? Is it normal to feel that way?
The key here is to get in touch with the positive intent behind the guilt. That may sound strange, but there is in fact a positive intention, a value within you that is trying to be fulfilled. Unfortunately its using the strategy of guilt to fulfill it which is likely causing you to fight that feeling so you're in a deadlock, an internal conflict. Logically you know it's perfectly normal to charge rent to someone renting space from you and there's nothing wrong with that, but something in you doesn't understand this, an isolated part of you that it probably very young that needs to be grown up and integrated with the rest of you so the conflict is resolved and you can make choices and decisions from a place of wholeness and congruence.
@@DamonCart not really, sorry if this sounded offending. What i meant is that being a right brain creative, i usually dont do well with logical tools, and only somatic or healing arts therapies worked so far. So i was surprised to see that i can gain insight and answers from this technique. Multumesc.
@@dumitriudaniela No worries. I wasn't offended. There are logical ways to do things and working with your mind is no different. For example, even though you may be more on the creative side, you still use logic when you need to get from home to the grocery store and then back. You have an objective, groceries, and you need to get them back home. You use logic. This also doesn't exclude creativity either. They work together well.
Great video Damon! Something is holding me back. I believe that if I really like a woman, she won't like me. Going even deeper, I believe that if I love a woman, she will abandon me. This fear is so great that I'm now afraid to leave the house, because I'm scared of getting involved in a new relationship. Please help me gain clarity around this. Thanks.
This is such a great infos on knowing limiting belief because it has been years since I am trying to enter into a business but its just recent that a lot of hindrance is because of my limiting beliefs that I have, one of which is the thought of failing,I cannot fail b'coz i haveb3 kids that is depending on me and I also have a limiting belief of disappointing others because I have dissapointed others before on another reason. How do u think I should proceed now that I am recognizing my limiting beliefs?
I've made videos about transforming beliefs. You can search for them on my channel. This video seems to be more popular than ever so I will probably do a longer video soon where I teach how to transform beliefs. Keep a look out for it. If you're on our email list, you'll be notified when I put new videos out.
This is great but I have a question. I am struggling to say what I want. Its like I am stuck from choosing what I want but I know what I dont want example in mycareer. I cannot tell you what I want but I get depressed and highly anxious doing jobs that I think is silly, beneath me or just not utilising my potential. When you ask me what is my interest I cannot say directly. Its like I know where I dont want to be but cant clarify where I want to be
You've identified the problem that holds most people back. Your mind is trained on what you don't want. How are you going to get what you want if you don't know what it is and yet you're very clear about what you don't want? If you went to a department store and the clerk asks you what you want and all you tell them is what you don't want, you will be there forever. Same if you got in a taxi and the driver asks you where you want to go and you tell him every place you don't want to go. You're not going anywhere. Your unconscious gravitates to clarity and moves away from confusion and chaos so if you're only clear about what you don't want and not clear at all about what you do want, where do you think you're unconsciously gravitating toward? The good news is that you can have an amazing life spending the rest of it discovering what you want, what you like, and what makes you happy. It starts with making that choice that you're going to discover what you want even if it takes getting out of your comfort zone. If you're expectation is that you have to have it all figured out before taking action, you'll likely stay stuck forever. Decide right now that you're going to change this. You're not going to be able to figure out what you want in your head (or on paper) before you take action. Taking action is the fastest way to discover what you want. Get curious and open yourself to experience and get out there to discover what you want. It's fine to know what you don't want, but focus on what you do want. Clarity about what you do want is something you can only discover through taking action. I've done many videos about this. Watch them, but also know that watching them alone isn't going to change this. Action will.
I lived a lot of years in survival mode, and while my life circumstances are now peaceful for years I’ve remained stuck in life. I know I have limiting beliefs, which brought me to your video. But this is why I get stuck over and over again. You say to identify limiting beliefs you need to identify what you want. I know this may seem ridiculous to some, but I have trouble doing that. I guess because I lived so long just trying to make it through the day, that I became disconnected with who I am and what I want out of life. Any suggestions resources or ideas on how to start this process ?
I've done many videos about how to figure out what you want. You're probably putting too much focus on what you want as having to be objects, material possessions, achievements, etc. There's nothing wrong with wanting any of those things but you need to move beyond that to discovering what your core values are. Every decision you make, every behavior you do (whether consciously or not), and everything you want is driven by your values or rather the want to fulfill your values. I've done many videos on values including demonstrations of how to elicit your values. Search my name and the word values here on UA-cam. Start there. The clarity will come.
Same here with the wanting to be wealthy... However, I have recently realized that my true limiting belief about the subject is about feeling I am leaving people behind, and I don't like that feeling... Could this be related to abandonment issues 🤔?...As always your feedback is greatly appreciated 🙂😊
It could be but not necessarily. Abandonment issues tend to have more of a feeling of being left behind rather than leaving others behind. Part of my journey has been a struggle with this same exact issue. It can be difficult but it's not worth it, in my opinion, to hold yourself back for others if they're not willing to evolve. Don't be surprised if those same people try to get in your way. It's often the people you least expect who will try to stop you. Often I don't even think they're consciously aware of what they're doing.
@@DamonCart thank you again😊. Very helpful and I do agree with your last point👍... In my case, the "leaving behind" feeling is because I feel at times that I am left behind, or I am always behind (even with goals I have set for myself)... Therefore, because I know how horrible it feels, I don't want to cause the same pain on to others😔.. Hope this makes sense..
Natural, systemic limits of body type also need to be factored in. Deficiency endowments have different requirements than proficiency endowments. Simply, someone with less muscle to work with will.not be considering climbing mount Everest. Systemic limits can be employed as creative guidelines. Hyper nerve sensitivity can be a problem but it is also very useful for creativity, innovation, psychic development etc.
There are limits of the body, but that's not what I'm referring to in this video. However, even what most would consider a limitation of the body can be surpassed like the 4 minute mile. It was once thought to be impossible until someone did it. Once that happened, several people achieved it so much so that it's no longer uncommon.
I just wondering how the nlp eye cues chart chnages for those people who. Can write with both hands. I'm right handed but my access cues are back to front does this have to with writing with both hands
Perhaps, but I don't think it's that important. When I'm working with clients, I use their eye movements to pace them and also to help them understand where they store information.

I have been trying to start an online business for years, I do a course then start building something then leave that and go into a different strategy or type of business. This keeps repeating itself and I can’t figure out why. Somethings that I think could be the issue is that 1)my dad told me when I dropped out of my degree that I will never get anywhere without one 2) my dad worked ridiculous hours to the point that stress and other mental issues killed him 3) my mum never had a career, she worked whatever jobs were available at the time. These things are possible reasons for me not sticking at something Could it be something else? I would appreciate your help.
It could be those things and it could be something else that's more unconscious and your desire to find an answer may be using those reasons as a placeholder. Regardless, whatever happened to you in the past, whatever someone told you, is irrelevant right now. Get focused on what you want and what fulfills you. If you're doing something that fulfills you, even when it's not going well, you'll still be motivated to do it.
First of all understand that this couldn't possibly be true since you're still alive and you successfully typed a comment here. Secondly, go to the positive intent of thinking such a thing. Just follow the instructions I give in the video. You don't do anything without there being some sort of value to fulfill including believing that you're designed to fail. A belief like this usually comes from being focused on what you don't want. Find out the positive intent of this. Make sure you state it in the positive; if you don't want X, what do you want instead? You'll quickly realize that this belief is really just a poor strategy to fulfill the positive intent so change it.
@@DamonCart this is all very well, but does not work if you have a deep seated belief that you DESERVE nothing BUT failure, and that you're a worthless piece of **** who is unworthy and no one loves. There, sort that one out.
I have released a limiting belief that anything that can go wrong will go wrong and I used to expect the worse .. do you have any affirmations or tactics to make this change permanent .????? Allahuakbar
Don't bother with affirmations. They usually make things worse. I've done several videos on belief change. And we're going to be doing a live, free training that covers that topic soon. I'll be making announcements about it here and to my email list.
Why don't we go straight to installing positive beliefs so we don't have to go on this negative beliefs witchhunt? For example, installing "I can accomplish anything I set my mind to". Or is it too broad for the mind to have any effect on your self-concept and resulting actions ? THanks!
Why don't you? Do you believe you can accomplish anything you set your mine to? You probably do so why aren't you? Believing you can do anything you set your mind to leaves us saying "So what?". It's not only very broad and general and lacking in connection to sensory based information, it's not very motivating if you're not clear about what you want to apply this to. The problem is not just whether or not you believe that. The problem is how, when, and where do you want to use it? As soon as you apply this to something, you're likely to experience resistance. For example, I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. I can become president of the United States. Is it possible? Yes. Do I want to? Not really. Next. I want to double my income. I definitely want that, but I'm not sure if I can or how I would even do it. Now you have a sense of where to start to create a solution and solve a problem. I can accomplish anything I set my mind to sounds nice and it might open your mind to possibilities, which is good, but apart from that it's not very useful.
thanks for the reply. Can you give me a specific example of what kind of positive beliefs I could install that would actually be useful to achieve my goal (for example, if I intend to make $100,000/year)?
Hi Damon, thanks for all the content you provide! I find your explanations of the NLP models really well explained in detail and easily implementable! 👍🏻 I was just wondering if you have any solutions for my issue. I've recently been working on uncovering some limiting beliefs within myself. I have the suspicion that a lot of them come from deeper than I am able to get to and was wondering how I can use NLP to get deeper into my unconscious. So I guess my question is how do you know that what comes up is really the limiting belief? Or alternatively how do you know whether you need to dig deeper? Many thanks for any information! Charlie
My suggestion is that you don't focus on limiting beliefs. Rather, deal with them as you pursue what it is you want. When they persist, you go deeper. Go only as deep as you need to go to remove the limitation. Some people think they need to remove all of their limiting beliefs before they start an endeavor. This is a big mistake. Focus on what you want. Move toward it. Limiting beliefs, if you have any, will reveal themselves. Only spend as much time as necessary on them so that they don't limit you from moving forward.
Life Mastery Gym Thanks for the suggestion! I've analysed my situation and I definitely was getting unnecessarily involved with limitations beyond the level of what I wanted. So much so that I've actually just succeeded in doing what I initially wanted to do. Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated 👍🏻
You won't forget. You can only suppress, which is only going to make it worse. You can, however, come to a new understanding that will relieve the pain. The part of you that is hurting is still a valuable part of you with many resources. You don't want to isolate it and push it away, which is usually our response to any kind of pain. You can start the process of healing by not resisting the pain and don't dwell on it or invest in it either. Just let it be. Ask yourself, what is the positive intent or positive message the pain is trying to deliver to you.
I liked how you are testing out new editing techniques on your video. I would have left the background clips go on even for a bit longer :-). In the video you mention that limiting beliefs are what prevent us from pursuing what we want. I am having trouble identifying with clarity even what it is that I want. If I was convinced about what I wanted, I would certainly tackle the limiting beliefs with a very practical approach. Using your example: 0) Goal: I want to learn Romanian to connect better with my partner. 1) Belief: I am not good at learning languages. 2) Actual limitation: it takes 480 hours to learn a language. 3) Action: dedicate 1 hour every day for the next year and a half. In my case, many of the beliefs are manifesting as self-doubt in the goal-setting stage, e.g., is this really what I want? Should I be doing something better with my time? Will I feel satisfied if I do this? This is preventing me from committing to action plans like the one in your example. Some of these questions might have some truth to them, they are not all originating from imagined limitations. I am having trouble distinguishing between the helpful questions and the destructive ones. If you can comment on this or provide any guidance, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.
I don't think your questions are bad. However, you can't answer them in your head. You have to test it out. Take the action. Set a time for how long you're going to try it out before you reassess. Do you now have answers to those questions? Yes, no, or need more time and information. There's nothing wrong with starting something and quitting it later if you don't enjoy it. In fact you should quit if you don't enjoy it. I fell into a deep depression trying to make my insurance business successful. I finally succeeded but then realized it would never fulfill me so I left it.
Treat what you want like theories and test them out. It will take action. You will need real information like feedback from your actions to know what you want.
It's all part of the resistance which itself is a defense mechanism. Learn to welcome the totality of this experience; Clarity emerges in the absence of judgement and the ego's desire to be clever!
Brilliant! I really enjoy your content and find it very useful and eye-opening. I am studying hypnosis and NLP and am always looking for new approaches and techniques. Thank you!

We're not usually good at much until we practice it consistently. The best thing to do is pursue what you enjoy doing especially if it's challenging. Do it because you enjoy it. Because you enjoy it, it's not a chore to do it so you will do it a lot. You'll eventually get good at it. If it's something that's challenging, you won't have too much competition.

PTSD and beliefs follow a structure and that structure is far more responsible for how you feel than the content of your memories. NLP helps you to elicit that structure and change it so that you feel differently and so that you can go beyond the limitations of your beliefs.
@@jeanne5354 No, NLP is not mostly for PTSD and trauma. There are NLP processes people have created for both, but NLP is a much larger study and technology than being primarily focused on PTSD and trauma.

@@ScottGrow117 I would say that's a limiting belief, which makes you dependent on outside circumstances to give you what you need to succeed. Your situation will likely not change until you change that thinking.
Get to the root of this and transform your self. The doubt and the feeling of not being good enough or just based on assumptions. Find out what those are and question them. Test them to find out if they're objectively true. You will find that they are false assumptions. When the assumptions fall apart and the negative feelings dissolve, you will move on and never be bothered by those assumptions again.

You're welcome. Thank you for your comment.
It's a nice metaphor.
I always believed that I hadn't earned the right to have a serious love because I don't have a tragic backstory or trauma in my past. I have been so very lucky, but it has given me a bit of imposter syndrome in many areas of my life. Thank you for making me think about this. I feel worthy again for the first time in a long time
The best thing to do is to realize that worthiness and self-worth aren't real. Step out of that duality and you'll be free and much happier.
@@DamonCart What exactly do you mean?

I do have a limiting belief about money. I know it's from childhood because I had to hear excuses from my father that he doesn't have money to give to me from necessary stuff. My brother on the other hand, knew how to get large amounts from my father!! He had money and I knew that, but just not for me!!

I believe patterns of behaviour are a function of some un-resolved trauma during various life stage development; My own father suffered from immaturity or the absence of adult competency; This is what was modeled to me and nearly cost me my first marriage. By happenstance a caring
person helped me identify what i was doing as an unconscious pattern.
Thanks, very helpful!

Thank you. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.
I just realized that I have the same limiting belief about wealth! Thank you for this video :)

Cu plăcere. Vorbiți limba română?
Thank you. Glad you enjoy it.

You're welcome. I agree.
@@DamonCart Thanks a million for taking the time to write that detailed response. I really appreciate it.

Have you never liked a woman who liked you back? Has every woman you ever loved abandoned you? Every single one?

@@DamonCart thanks, this is very helpful!
WOW this makes sooooo much sense!! Is it better to use the PDF before working through the limiting beliefs?
It's a good idea to keep the elements of a healthy self-concept in mind when doing any work on yourself so I would recommend looking over it first.
Thanks, I'll give it a try.

These things are possible reasons for me not sticking at something
Could it be something else?
I would appreciate your help.
It could be those things and it could be something else that's more unconscious and your desire to find an answer may be using those reasons as a placeholder. Regardless, whatever happened to you in the past, whatever someone told you, is irrelevant right now. Get focused on what you want and what fulfills you. If you're doing something that fulfills you, even when it's not going well, you'll still be motivated to do it.
Hi Damon, do you ever come to Denver Colorado to do training?
I sometimes go to Boulder to visit with the Andreas' but I haven't done trainings there. If you're interested in hosting me I would be happy to come.
Great content, what if my limiting belief is that i was designed to fail?
First of all understand that this couldn't possibly be true since you're still alive and you successfully typed a comment here. Secondly, go to the positive intent of thinking such a thing. Just follow the instructions I give in the video. You don't do anything without there being some sort of value to fulfill including believing that you're designed to fail. A belief like this usually comes from being focused on what you don't want. Find out the positive intent of this. Make sure you state it in the positive; if you don't want X, what do you want instead? You'll quickly realize that this belief is really just a poor strategy to fulfill the positive intent so change it.

Definitely
@@davidbakino617 What is your belief about that now? Is there anything stopping you from achieving that goal?

Hi Damon, thanks for all the content you provide! I find your explanations of the NLP models really well explained in detail and easily implementable! 👍🏻
I was just wondering if you have any solutions for my issue.
Life Mastery Gym
Thanks for the suggestion! I've analysed my situation and I definitely was getting unnecessarily involved with limitations beyond the level of what I wanted. So much so that I've actually just succeeded in doing what I initially wanted to do.
Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated 👍🏻
@@TheCVibe You're welcome. Thank you for your comments.
Can you apply NLP to forget traumatic pain while still recovering from that pain?

Using your example:
0) Goal: I want to learn Romanian to connect better with my partner.
Thanks.
I have the exact same issue. I want to know too. I flip flop always wondering if I'm choosing the right thing.

What's holding me back is I don't know what is my strength, what am I good in. How do I find out or it doesn't matter?
We're not usually good at much until we practice it consistently. The best thing to do is pursue what you enjoy doing especially if it's challenging. Do it because you enjoy it. Because you enjoy it, it's not a chore to do it so you will do it a lot. You'll eventually get good at it. If it's something that's challenging, you won't have too much competition.

Hi
I have been feeling (for decades) that I am not as brainy as a normal person. I am a little fat brain and not sharp. I dont have a good memory. Hence, I can't proceed as well as a normal person. I feel that every individual is different in terms of intelligence, sharpness, grasping power, logical things, etc. And somehow, I am different too, and I lack all these things. Hence, I am not succeeding.
I procrastinate a lot and I dont know why. It is holding me back and I getting degraded in life.
Please do let me know if you can help me.
Thanks
What type of help are you looking for?
@DamonCart I have been limiting my beliefs for decades. And for last so many years, I have been procrastinating a lot.
If there is any treatment available, then I would like to go ahead with it.
My biggest limiting beliefis around how much i earn and how much i could earn
I have a belief that I’m bad/evil and all my intentions are bad/evil even though I haven’t done anything that would constitute this. I was raised by a critical mother whom I think may have been narcissistic and a father who abandoned our family. Please tell me I’m not beyond help 😂
You are definitely not beyond help. I have suffered from a lot of the same things, which caused me to surround myself with people who would treat me the way I felt I deserved to be treated (like crap). Fortunately I've since overcome it and what I teach in my videos is what I've used to resolve those issues and get beyond them.

@@DamonCart To be needed, and for someone to genuinly care about me.

I know i have strong limiting beliefs that has caused me massive stress my entire life and destruction in my career
Knowing this means it's time to do something about it.
i want to like or i can say love cartoons and i think my Limiting Belief is that i don't have strong emotions on little things but i'm not sure.
That's an interesting desire. Just curious, why do you want to like or love cartoons?

And to alter my self image ..
But I don't know hoW to ,,
I don't know how to check what's already there ,,
And I don't know how to clean and clear it ,,
And I don't know how to install new desired positive beliefs and mindset,,
And how to be immune to all negatives ,
How to get what's the core belief ,,
How to change it effectively..
And how to get results ..

For me the limiting belief towards what I want is the fear I might accidentally do something to screw it up
Are you actively doing anything to get what you want or are you not even trying?
I need to identify the core beliefs that are keeping me in a state of lack, I am desperate
What's it like when you're not feeling desperate?
I'm thinking I'm not happy , I don't think I'm good enough or reach my goals , I'm 20 just turned 20 n I feel like I got old and any age above 19 is bad , there might be lots of good around me but I can't feel it , i have a low self esteem , Also i have never jad a boy friend , im usually down n i want to know why, i complain lots of the time , and I considered maybe I have a limiting belief. Where is nlp in this?
The entire video. Eliciting a limiting belief, making it conscious. Eliciting the positive intent. Challenging the beliefs so you have to go into deep structure to find the information to answer the challenge. All of this is rooted in the very first NLP model the Meta Model.

This keeps happening.
With my other business I am flourishing, so why not on the day trade?

Have you tried Mapping Across what you're doing in your other business with your day trading business?
@@DamonCart my other business are bumming, my personal life, health, and everything else is super good. 🤷♀️
@@vivianferraz595 there's a NLP process called mapping across. I've done a few videos about it. Try that and see what happens.
I’m triggered by others lies and behaviors, which caused PTSD trauma. And I’m not understanding what or why my beliefs have to do with nlp for ptsd
PTSD and beliefs follow a structure and that structure is far more responsible for how you feel than the content of your memories. NLP helps you to elicit that structure and change it so that you feel differently and so that you can go beyond the limitations of your beliefs.
I have not heard you mention this in the 4 videos I’ve watched. I was told NLP was for PTSD mostly for trauma. But you’re not mentioning either?
@@jeanne5354 No, NLP is not mostly for PTSD and trauma. There are NLP processes people have created for both, but NLP is a much larger study and technology than being primarily focused on PTSD and trauma.
I have wanted to be an actor since college. Maybe 15 years now. I know I have what it takes, I know I am a good actor, I know I can do just as well as these other people who are making it big, but I also know that I have no experience, that there is a knowledge and skill curve to it and that I have not learned these things. I also know that I have $10 to my name and that I haven’t been able to get out of poverty for the last 5-6 years. I know I have a lot of limiting beliefs here, but I can’t see them. Or maybe I can and I don’t realize it...
How do you know you're a great actor? I'm curious what makes you want to be an actor if you're not studying it and practicing it?
Life Mastery Gym I acted in college in a small theatre troupe. Many of the students in the troupe with me were acting majors and they said I was really good for having no formal training. They gave me advice that I took to very quickly and they said I was a natural. I went to a talent scout once, there were many of us. They said that if there was no call back by the evening, that we should take that as their professional assessment that we did not have what it takes to be an actor. They called back.
Why don’t I practice or study? I am not all that great at studying on my own. I need an instructor, objective and quantitative assessment, and a gun to my head to keep me on task.
@@ScottGrow117 I would say that's a limiting belief, which makes you dependent on outside circumstances to give you what you need to succeed. Your situation will likely not change until you change that thinking.

I doubt my abilities and thinkj I am not good enough
Get to the root of this and transform your self. The doubt and the feeling of not being good enough or just based on assumptions. Find out what those are and question them. Test them to find out if they're objectively true. You will find that they are false assumptions. When the assumptions fall apart and the negative feelings dissolve, you will move on and never be bothered by those assumptions again.

Any time you feel stuck in a situation, it's usually because you have a belief, which could be conscious or unconscious, that's limiting you.
