    I've done so many self-help-junky things EST, TFT, EFT, TM, LOA ( I was even personally featured in "The Secret" ) I even just did Ketamine, None of these programs ever addressed the positive outcome negative thoughts or beliefs are trying to achieve . Even some thought as dark as "I wish I were dead" implies you want peace in your life - truly amazing. This is one of THE very best videos on self-help I've ever seen, Just thoroughly getting a lot out of your UA-cam presentations - can't say it enough. And I LOVE picturing yourself without the problem or at least severely mitigated. WOW so spot on. Thanks!

      Hi Robby, have you ever felt like it was harder for you to overcome negativity because you know better? I have been jumping head first into help for so many years and I can help people easily, but for some reason, with all the tools and skills I have, helping myself feels overwhelming and impossible. It's so wild to me. Do you ever have this feeling?

    Great the idealogy that i dint get from motivation, philosophy, religion, spritual teachings got just by your logical explaination of integrating the deluded parts into one for a common cause it's so helpful

      Physiology helps but in my opinion it is way overhyped. It doesn't solve problems.

    I have a question is it true you can
    change your personality with nlp?

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  3 роки тому +2

      It depends on what you mean by personality. My speciality is identity change work. Changing at the identity level may or may not affect your personality. What do you want to change about your personality?

    • @Thatboyfancy
      @Thatboyfancy 3 роки тому +1

      @@DamonCart thanks for the response! Ok, I am a little confused b/c I look at the term personality & identity as the same. What I want to do with my self is to install my values.
      1.Respect
      2.Confidence
      3.Self-Control, How I react, being in control of my emotions
      4.Hard working/Not being lazy
      5.Being humble

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  3 роки тому +1

      @@Thatboyfancy good for you wanting to install your values as solid qualities of who you are. This is the height of personal development work. This may not change your personality much though in the sense that the people who know you will still recognize who you are. You may behave differently but you're still enough of who you are though that it's not like you're a completely different person.
      Onward, there are many issues with the values you've chosen, but I've got just the video for you. Watch this video before you attempt to work with these values: ua-cam.com/video/KMe2hnyjzuA/v-deo.html

    What if it is your voice? When you pull it around to put a face to it...

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  3 роки тому +1

      That's often how it appears at first. But is it really you? Do you think it's really you that decided to say these things to yourself? Are those really your words?
      Look a bit deeper.

    What do I do if what the person wants is for someone else to change? Like, i'm feeling bad that my kids don't treat me the way I want them to and what I want is for them to change.

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  11 місяців тому

      If you're dependent others to change for your wellbeing, you can wait forever. You can't control others. You do have control over you though. What do you need to change about you to make you happy? When it comes to how people treat you, you are responsible for training people how to treat you. If you tolerate bad treatment, there's no reason to think that they're going to suddenly change. They may change on their own but I wouldn't depend on it. When you change, you have the greatest chance of influencing others to change, but there's no guarantee. Focus on changing into the person who enjoys your life and spends it with people who appreciate you.

    I feel negative emotions, but i don't know what thoughts behind them are. Like, i don't know what thoughts i am supposed to be dealing with, i just have a feeling of confusion, feeling lost, how do i deal with this when you don't even know what your mind is traumatized about?

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  10 місяців тому

      Perhaps you're not traumatized at all. What are you clear about? What are you clear that you want?

    • @Montu96

      @@DamonCart Thanks for your reply.
      What i want is to simply focus on my Life and well being, you know, like my career and make good money, my relationships with Friends and Family, travel and explore the world, have good experiences out of Life, etc.
      But, i kind of get feelings of confusion, or that nothing i do matters, or just feeling so insignificant in this big world at times, i guess a philosophical term would be me feeling a bit of nihilism. I don't know what's stopping me from going after this life that i want.

      @@Montu96 You're not alone. Most people feel that. A great place to start is to watch my videos about values and values elicitation. Also do the exercises I give in the free PDF.
