@@touremuhammad5983 Not really… The way the new cutscenes are narrated seem to be based on medieval folktales, whereas Rise’s cutscenes are based on Japanese-style storytelling. Based on the quest description, it's not just any Magnamalo...it's the one that ended Master Hamon's hunting career and nearly destroyed Kamura fifty years ago. It survived and has gotten stronger over the preceding five decades!
I love how Gore and Shagaru Magala's defining features in Sunbreak aren't the frenzy but their *overwhelming strength*. Because they're invasive and much rarer, and not as important plotwise as they were in 4U, the narrative focus goes into their unique biology. Gore is the only monster that can endure the frenzyvirus's damage to its system (hence using it symbiotically) and Shagaru is a Gore Magala who has endured and evolved through the pain of its natural symbiotic affliction to the point that the pain no longer exists in it. Plus their unique muscular wing-arms and frame having much more brawny upper body compared to other six-limbed dragons (Kushala, Teostra, Chameleos, etc) their 'defining feature' focuses on that.
