Wow it’s been one hell of a journey ever since rise came out, sure rise has its flaws but I have to admit it was fun ether way. And then sunbreak came in and made things even better. Honestly I can’t wait for the future of the franchise.
Yeah imo they should aim next for a classic styled game, more atmospheric and gritty, like the first ones. Gameplay is great in recent games, Rise has amazing combat but the style is too different from the original titles.

I'm not a hunter, but I'm definitely a fan of mythological creatures, esp. dragons. 49:20 Beautiful, elegant, dangerous. How can you combine these three adjectives on one dragon? Well, you've got the answer. (Velkhana, the ruler of the frozen land) 50:46 Colossal, majestic, godly. I combine these three adjectives on one dragon.....and this bellowing roar sounds like a response "You challenge me, mortal?" (Amatsumagatsuchi, the typhoon dragon god)
Sunbreak was a interesting experience for me as it was my first time fighting things like the Magala line(Shagaru,Gore and Chaotic) as well as others like Amatsu,Chameleos,Astalos,Valstrax,Seregios,Espinas and more so I’m definitely very interested to see where this Franchise goes next
i feel like base rise narration wasn't terrible, but with sunbreak it gave an element that made them seem like the game is taking itself way too seriously. without the narration and music though, a lot of the monster intros are incredibly good ecology style shorts about the monsters
There's a couple intros where the narration is perfect imo, like in the chaotic gore magala where it says "why have i fallen" and describes the nature of the failed monster destined to become an elder perfectly.
Correct me if I am wrong but... I noticed that Sandy Plains and Flooded Forest are the only locale that does not feature a new monster species/subspecies intro. Oh, I guess you could also count Jungle if you count Espinas as a returning monster.
My god, these are so much better without the narration. The lack of music makes it feel like the nature doc and makes you focus more on the animals' noises. Did you just turn voice and music down in the options for this? I'd love it if there was a mod that did something similar

Just 1 question Malzeno and Primodial Malzeno are one or two different individuals? I remember that Malzeno have been died for a long time before Primordial introduced🤔
If it is, the relation is distant. It would take an awfully long time for the jaws of Narwa and Ibushi to develop the way they have, and despite looking similar, Amatsu’s body plan is quite different from their’s. Odda are it is a closer relative than other Elder Dragons, but they may be closer to Gaismagorm than Amatsu.

As far as they go Amatsu is certainly a higher tier one, but it was still not fearsome enough to avoid being attacked by Crimson Glow Val. Black Dragons are unparalleled and unchallenged by anything. Black Dragons fear absolutely nothing, not even eachother. Black Dragons have the capacity to destroy the world. Amatsu can’t compare.

My theory is that there are so many predators that hunt Jagras on these continents that lone males simply don't get enough time or enough food in order to become a Great

And good point, being hunted to irrelevancy will stop them from being sighted (and plus its the MH title spice to have certain monsters and not others)

yes it should have been a different Malzeno
They are different individuals, but regular Malzeno is basically an Afflicted Malzeno, while Primordial is a healthy Malzeno.
Magnamalo’s and the Magala’s are by far my favorite
