Pretty good overall, though I will have to make a few corrections. Deviljho's bite force being bone-crushing does indeed make sense, but that's because of the sheer force it creates rather than any particular evolutionary design to optimize bite force. Everything about Deviljho is sheer raw power, so it's entirely on theme that it has a bone-crushing bite (and bear in mind that this is bone-crushing by MH standards where even Monster bones can be stronger than stone and metal) with a vice-like grip due to pure muscular strength. The entire point of its enraged state is that its own muscles swell up and vastly increase its muscular strength, with this constant swelling re-opening old wounds that bring with them enough pain to continue to drive a Deviljho's enraged state. As well, Deviljho's non-cannibalism pheromones only trigger specifically after it has eaten enough to be temporarily sated. Ordinarily, the species is "eat on sight" with each other, but eating enough will temporarily put them in a state of non-aggression to each other that lets them mate. It's rare for a Deviljho to be full, and it's only a temporary period, but it can happen if they eat enough within a certain time-frame before it's processed. Dragon Element has nothing to do with this, and it doesn't affect the minds of targets that are hit by it. Instead, Dragon Element affecting behaviours is SELF-INFLICTED, as an excess of it affects a user's mind and causes mental instability and heightened aggression. This is part of why Savage Deviljho, a Variant of the species, ends up the way it is, as they've lived for much longer than Deviljho ordinarily are supposed to, which affects their ability to properly sustain themselves. Their advanced age (for Deviljho) results in any food they eat instantly being processed into more Dragon Element, leaving them in a perpetually starving state with the excess energy driving them to madness; this also prevents them from ever being able to mate, as they can never feel full and can never produce pheromones to nullify aggression towards their own kind. It also makes them far more reckless, as they no longer have sound enough mind to make any kind of rational decision-making, as little as they might've done before. For example, a normal Deviljho can decide to not pursue a target if it's proving troublesome enough, like when a Yian Garuga is too stubborn to be an easy meal; a Savage Deviljho is too aggressive to care and will go after anything and everything unless hard-forced to retreat by the skin of its teeth.
This is 100% true. They home in on this fact even more in games as just the act of it seeing you once will cause it to relentlessly peruse you during a hunt of an entirely different monster without fail.
@@GunlessSnake ah i was looking for someone else as well versed into the lore i would not have anything much more to add but to say an in game proof would be that Diablos turf war were he just lift Diablos up and also breaks one of his horn, Deviljho is straight up Sheer power and he has the heft to throw it around
@@killianft289 Indeed! This feat is even more impressive than it seems! Bear in mind that Diablos is already easily as heavy as Deviljho itself if not heavier due to its large size and dense shell. AND THEN bear in mind that Deviljho has to first actively overpower Diablos's own monstrous strength, as shown by how it can lift up and toss Brute Wyverns as large itself (i.e. Glavenus) clear over its body atop its head with ease. AND THEN bear in mind that it doesn't just lift up Diablos, but instead does a vertical suplex and holds it like that for a few seconds. In order to do that, you have to actively overpower your own lifting momentum, meaning Deviljho had to exert even more muscular strength than it was already using to overpower Diablos's strength and lift it up in order to hold it in the air and slam it back down. Legitimately, Deviljho could've sent Diablos flying away if it had simply done the lift and let go instead of holding it for a vertical suplex. Deviljho is actually insane in how physically strong it is! It's no wonder that by strength alone it's considered Elder Dragon-level, with only the likes of Rajang or Nergigante being shown to match it in raw physical might among the map-roaming Monster species.
"Deviljho's bite won't be all that strong." Well your bite doesn't need to be strong when 90% of your attack method is slamming your prey into the ground
Deviljho is basically just going "haha you go bonk" every time he grab something. Shell is too hard ? Bonk. Too big ? Bonk. Too annoying ? Bonk. Brother is an absolute menace for any ecosystem, and I'm pretty sure there's not a single thing Earth have seen that could try to stop the pickle, neither living now or past creature. Even aquatic creature are cooked, cuz Jho CAN FRICKIN SWIM OCEANS JUST TO GET FOOD. MOSASAUR GO BONK TOO. Deviljho is basically a mass extinctions weapon.
kinda new to monster hunter (thank you FF14 for the cross over event) and seeing that thing fling Diablos and the T-Rex looking monster around was a wake up call, i was not ready to kill it yet LMFAO!
Another thing about Deviljho is that when food runs out in an area, it moves on, even swimming oceans to get to new food sources. The military would have to get involved eventually, for sure.
Well in that case I think the Mosasaur would take care of that. Deviljho would likely be tired out from lack of food in this scenario, and Mosasaurus has a massive home field advantage.
@@monsoon1303Deviljho's a tank, though. If the Mosa got it angry enough, there is no way in Hell it is surviving having that corner of the ocean blow up due to Dragon Element.
Let’s be honest here. It’s more than a bloodbath. Ye olde pickle would kill EVERYTHING nearby, then move to a new area for any good. Because keep in mind. Like the skull crawler, they don’t stop hunting and eating. But unlike the crawler, this guy has been known to *burrow and swim* In order to reach prey. The only thing with even a slight chance of killing this guy is heavy, *heavy* military action. This guy is more than a cataclysmic event for the biomes it enters. Infact, most monsters from monster hunter that aren’t docile, would be apex predators of a whole new tier above the current ones.
Nope, he'll Godzilla his way to a new continent [NCH Productions video 😂] or become the Starving Jho, a White & Red pickle from frontier. I don't remember all the details as it's been a long time.
I doubt any dinosaur of Jurassic universe could stop this thing. Thing is too big and that dragon element weapon is a major game changer. Even on PJ's version of Skull Island this thing wouldn't have much more challenge. On Monsterverse Skull Island... would be a interesting scenario
If Peter Jackson’s version of King Kong were to face Deviljho, I imagine it would almost look like a miniature version of Godzilla vs. Kong. While I wouldn’t bet on that version of Skull Island beating Deviljho, I still think King Kong and the V-Rexes would put up noticeably more of a fight. Based on the impressions I saw here, a major reason why Deviljho could so easily beat many of Isla Sorna’s large creatures is its ability to just leap on top its opponents and crush them. However, Kong is unrealistically agile for an ape of his size and proportions, to the point of also being able to leap like that. Plus, the V-Rexes are significantly bigger than Jurassic World’s top carnivores and have the unrealistically higher durability, as shown by them surviving multiple falls from great heights which would splatter any normal creature of that size.
@@markcobuzzi826Goji center didn’t seem to understand how strong Deviljho is. And while, yes its ability to jump is impressive. The most impressive thing about it is its great strength, plus its extreme durability. Deviljho would likely grab the Vrexes by any body part it can grab and drag them around, slamming them around. Monsters that its on par with throw around hundreds of tons with ease, tank artillery and more. Kong would be the same.
@@frostfang7670 Yeah, the dragon element breath was why I compared Deviljho to Godzilla. Seeing how much Godzilla’s atomic breath put Kong at a disadvantage in the Monsterverse, without that axe to absorb it, I imagined that would still give Deviljho a clear upper hand, despite me not being a Monster Hunter expert at all.
So we got Godzilla, Pacific Rim, Jurassic World/Park, How To Train Your Dragon, Ark, Urban Legends, Attack On Titan… and now Monster Hunter? What’s next, Pokémon?! I’d love to see that, actually…
Indeed. As someone else mentioned in the comments, it uses its massive biting strength like a vice-grip to keep a steady hold on its prey. The position of its teeth also shows that those are generally used to dig through the ground

A single Deviljho causes an ecological apocalypse. A single Elder Dragon brings forth a weather anomaly. A single Safi'jiiva reforms an entire Earth to its liking over a span of mere weeks. No matter how absurd their traits, humanity is but mild annoyance of an obstacle at best -(unless a decade-old debate of "which mon is the strongest?" comes up).- A gnat's bite may itch, but in time they fade and so will humanity if they are unlucky enough. *_A single Fatalis, however, will actively seek out every single human being and force them to reconstruct the very definition of hell._*
A single fatalis has landed on the island, a week later and everything has been burnt to the ground, survivors none, actual evidence there was life here none.

@@dancorneanu9144 yeah, but the problem is that your average dinosaur probably wouldn't have as much bioenergy as a kushala daora or xeno'jiiva, so it'd probably have to settle for whatever it can find, which... eh then again, if it doesn't get hurt much, it doesn't need to regrow a lot of spikes, meaning it wastes less energy, meaning it'd need to eat less, meaning it wouldn't screw things up as hard. or at least as fast
also, in terms of elder dragons, i guess namielle and maybe primordial malzeno wouldn't cause more trouble than they'd need to to keep food on their plates, since they mostly just want peace same would go for alatreon and zorah, but they're a little too prone to morbing all over the place
something worth mentioning, is that before it starves to death, it will become a Savage DevilJho, making it faster, and stronger, likely to catch a few raptors before eventually dying as once a DevilJho has gone savage, its only a matter of time until it dies
I think you are confusing Starving Deviljho with Savage Deviljho, Savage Deviljho is theorized to be a mutation or the result of a Deviljho that has eaten another of its kin, Starving Deviljho is the one who is starved at the point its body its in maximun alert, lacking the nutrients needed, its skin turn brownish, also the dragon energy light can be seen through parts of its body and its spikes become sharper
Also worht mentioning that deviljho's wont just go quitely they will actively leave that island all together to find more food if need be before becoming starved altogether

Insect Glaive Hunter here! @206Zelda chargeplade main here ive been able to consistently knock jo down by savage axe element discharge into super element discharging between its legs to its head with impact phials
The bone crushing bite is due to the unusually strong muscles behind the jaw, not the power of the teeth. Deviljho teeth are supposed to break off all the time as they're constantly replaced, much like a shark. Also Dragon Element is specifically stated to attack the mind and has a more devastating effect based off of how much the victim relies on its intelligence. This is why it's almost entirely the elder dragons & unusually smart monsters that are weak to it. Oh and as some other comments have pointed out, Deviljho is surprisingly capable of swimming so if food became to scarce on the island it'd just leave to go hunt somewhere else.

A quick set of fun facts is that Deviljho used to hunt exclusively monsters of its own size, that went extinct as time went on. Crooked teeth, skin tearing, and nomadic lifestyle are the direct result of this species' inbreeding due to massive drop in population. Which, in turn, is caused by lack of food. Savage Deviljho is just another example of inbreeding, causing a terrible mutation to its dragon gland. Deviljho is an endangered species, and one of the rarest monsters in Monster Hunter, projected to become extinct itself in less than a couple centuries. Still, when it makes itself present, it devours entire ecosystems, desperately trying to satiate its prehistorical hunger.

There is a rumor among the hunting community that a Deviljho will on occasion even feed on its own severed tail if its hungry and running low on energy. If that's actually true or just a rumor isn't clear cause there is a strange abscence of proof material on the internet but somehow everyone remembers Jho doing that. And despite being one of the hardest Monsters to achieve a tailcut against cause it's so thick and so high above the ground, a good percentage of hunters are well-versed in the art of -circumcision- uhh.. tailcutting. 🌝 Especially the old guard of elite hunters that came from Gen 2 or earlier when tailcuts were super meaningful and important. (Back in the olden days, you could only get certain rewards/materials if you fulfilled certain criteria in the fight with a monster like for example break the legs, cut the tail, pick up a shiny drop, etc. But in the newer entries of the series it's being a bit watered down and more generous for less experienced hunters so you can actually get every part that you need with just a good amount of luck and patience no matter how you fight. So, consequentially, older hunters have a lot of crazy tricks and skills up their sleeves which newer ones aren't really familiar with cause the game never specifically asked for it.) That's why in game if there's a Deviljho around, the Hunting Guild sends out a major SOS alert to hunt it immediately because IT IS a major extinction event for all species if not dealt with.
Some monster hunter lore in this regards - Even within monster hunter his "bone breaking jaws" aren't the strongest, they're certainly solid for some smaller prey but the proper crunch just isn't there for many larger animals. That acidic saliva however, can eat through metal with relative ease (Its why jho is one of the few monsters in the series to inflict "defense down" - which reduces the defense stat of the hunter.). The boney plates of an Anky is not too dissimilar to the rock hard boney plates of a Gravios, which are known to suffer a similar fate from jho - precisely due to that acidic nature. Slowing the digestive process is then also less of a concern, since by the time it reaches the other acidic compounds, its already been softened up and broken apart by the saliva earlier in the consumption process - another reason for its presence on the monster... It is honestly fascinating at times how detailed the MH designers get into the anatomy and associated ecology.

Pretty sure the Deviljho is gonna start hunting monsters _underwater._
Short answer: All dinosaurs would go extinct again and Deviljho would then travel to the main land to start devouring everything there.
I mean there is a reason why he got the nickname Worldeater
If he travels to the mainland, he gets a cruise missile sent to him and he no longer exists
And then our weapons would be useless and after nuking the planet many thousands of years later our planet will become the monster hunter verse
@@davidgutierrezestrada2157 what, if pinecones can stun a deviljho than there is absolutely no way it would survive a nuke
@@evanbyrain Pray it doesn't survive a nuke. If it does we'll have a far worse situation on our hands. Something like that would definitely cause it to become a variant.
Deviljho might decide to steer clear of superior class Elders.
Savage would charge headfirst a Fatalis problably.
It's a big muscle with teeth

A single Safi'jiiva reforms an entire Earth to its liking over a span of mere weeks.

something worth mentioning, is that before it starves to death, it will become a Savage DevilJho, making it faster, and stronger, likely to catch a few raptors before eventually dying as once a DevilJho has gone savage, its only a matter of time until it dies

I think you did some fine justice to our big angry pickle here, and I wanted to also mention that myself and other hunters who track this creature and engage it find we can hardly ever knock this behemoth into a wall, especially if it's going Savage! Clutch Claw maneuvers don't seem to work on this thing, so using the terrain to your advantage to knock him down is futile. Calling yourself a "main" is so cringey

This Video Idea is sick!
MONSTER HUNTER MENTIONED 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Monster Hunter is so perfect for this Channel so I'm glad we're seeing this. So excited to see what else is to come when it comes to MH content.
I'm thinking both Skull Islands are on the menu next
Likely MV Skull Island, Peter Jackson's Skull Island would get screwed over in more record time.
@@frostfang7670 PJ Skull Island would last longer than Isla Sorna though. MV Skull Island would make Deviljho's hit its limit eventually but there are still a lot of creatures it could go through before reaching the heavy hitters like Kong, Camazotz, and the Skull Crawlers. Among the Skull Crawlers, only the adults would actually be a threat.
I'd put him on Isla Nublar next just to see it face off against the Indominus, Scorpius, and the Mosasaurus. They can even throw the Indorapter in there like in the last video just to make it slightly more fair.
@@flick-pp8be Well if the Indoraptor couldn't take on the Indominus, odds are the Raptor will be more hesitant to take on something even bigger, idk if the Indominus could take on the Deviljho. Depending on the outcome of Spino vs Indominus, we don't know if Indominus would fair better.
@@frostfang7670 I don't expect either hybrid to last long on their own but they might have a chance if they work together.
Deviljho Is "Apex Predator from Skull Island 2005 Level of Menace" AT THE VERY LEAST.
The Jurassic Verse would be like going to a free all-you-can-eat for him !!
I am happy that Deviljho is having recognition on Goji Center
I like how in spite of this, the Deviljho has a genuine chance of losing to a single Fifth Fleet Palico, which is literally just a cat with nearly human-level intellect.
The chance that I just refreshed my feed and this vid popped up when I was just thinking about goji center is epic❤❤❤❤
THE PICKLE! He’s finally here!
Deviljho is the definition of a trex on steroids
More like a T Rex on steroids cubed
They still buffing t rex with each patch.
By 2099, t rex will be 60 feet long, 30 tons and can time travel and shoot ki blasts from its tiny arms.
A pickle, a trex, Godzilla, hulk & doomsday all walk into a bar is how a Deviljho is made 😂.
@@loowick4074 so after a century of buffing, they still didn't give the t-rex longer arms XD
@@nikoskonstantinidis4069I mean… there is this

MH Veterans: *LOOKS LIKE PICKLE IS BACK ON THE MENU, BOYS!*

If there’s one thing he’s known for, it’s those memes about him.
This is probably the worst mismatch I’ve ever seen 😅
Genuine pub stomp bro💀
Fr it's an execution literally and figuratively
"What would happen if we took a 100 foot long thing that eats entire ecosystems unless it stays moving and isolated it on an island"
Everything would die. That's what would happen.
Would have been worse if it was a elder or something like safi, fatalis, and alatreon
Yeah, it's literally Maurice vs Gilgamesh the destroyer of universes
What if the White Spikes from Tomorrow war were in Skull island?
@@Psub950 that would be so much interesting to see analyzed
@@Psub950 they'd clear Peter Jackson's skull island. 2019 monsterverse is a bit iffy
goji center aint doing that bc he only used them for the indoraptor vid and never used them ever again.
@@KaijuGameplayTv6592 and that's stupid
@@KaijuGameplayTv6592 and that's a shame
There is a rumor among the hunting community that a Deviljho will on occasion even feed on its own severed tail if its hungry and running low on energy.
If that's actually true or just a rumor isn't clear cause there is a strange abscence of proof material on the internet but somehow everyone remembers Jho doing that.
And despite being one of the hardest Monsters to achieve a tailcut against cause it's so thick and so high above the ground, a good percentage of hunters are well-versed in the art of -circumcision- uhh.. tailcutting. 🌝
Especially the old guard of elite hunters that came from Gen 2 or earlier when tailcuts were super meaningful and important.
So, consequentially, older hunters have a lot of crazy tricks and skills up their sleeves which newer ones aren't really familiar with cause the game never specifically asked for it.)
On that note,
Yeehaw mfkers, je suis monte! 🤘
It's the eye of the Tigrex, the thrill of the hunt!
The Pickle has landed.
Deviljho is a menace indeed but 16:32 is the final boss on steroids
THE PICKLE DOMINATES
This feels like an early 2000s SPIKE TV show about warriors and I'm absolutely here for it
The ferocious Deviljho. Always constantly hungry. Even hungrier than that of a Skullcrawler…
Skullcrawler are hypervore that the reason they always hungry to grow. Unlike Deviljho that they always hungry because of their metabolism is "too well" so that they need calories each hours
Deviljho is practically the living deadly sin of gluttony when you think about it.
Gluttony and Wrath combine
@@jontuxen2724 I Just came up with that idea on my own independently. I am so glad that there are others who are like minded.
Also, it really puts the "Devil" in "Deviljho", doesn't it? 😄
Nah, that goes to Nakarkos.
Great that Monster Hunter is FINALLY on this channel, but the first of Gojicenter’s videos featuring it is a light snack for Deviljho
1:19 Heh hah, Deviljho's nickname is Pickle. I am happy you included this.
You mean the
Murder Pickle
GOJI CENTER FINALLY DOING MONSTER HUNTER MONSTERS , IM SO HAPPY! MORE MORE MORE!
1:18 …😂 I can’t unsee it now
15:54 WWHHHOOOOOOOAAA
It's been a joke for more then a decade , your now in the crew , the crew known as the majority
@@FlintsForge6931 Hey, it's okay, he/she probably doesn't really know about Monster Hunter and that's fine ( But yeah, it is true that the joke is a very old one in the community 😅 )
@@FlintsForge6931 thanks 😆😆😆
welcome to the club
NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!! MONSTER HUNTER!!!!
Anyways i would like to see how rajang can fare to the monsterverse skull island for next time
Pretty well, Rajang is incredibly strong for his size and can throw down with way bigger monsters including actual elder dragons who can move mountains.
That's why in game if there's a Deviljho around, the Hunting Guild sends out a major SOS alert to hunt it immediately because IT IS a major extinction event for all species if not dealt with.
I pause and saw this at 0:28 and already know the island is cooked even if he’s the weakest in the island what I’ve seen from this is that laser=win
It's not just a laser, it can act as a form of super poison cloud that will kill most things in seconds. It could probably melt someone to the bone
@@YgoS.S.O I know because I said I’ve stop at 0:28 and just judged it at face value
0:12 bro monster hunter in goji center video lets go 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊
The Monsterverse titans vs Monster Hunter Wyverns is a warfare we would like to see.
15:48 this is the last thing i expected to hear at goji center 💀
I could imagine a trex getting a bite on deviljho only to see it only look back at trex like the hulk looking at iron man after getting punched
Now that you point it out, Deviljho is basically the Hulk if he was a theropod dinosaur
4:02 yall needed to nerf deviljo to even give the Dino’s a chance
He did nerf him though lmao. They used jurassic physics laws instead monster hunter‘s, because if they did use monster hunter‘s even the lowest tier large monsters would wreck the verse
@@NoahCallenberg fair but the dragon breath would still wreak them also deviljoe still could jump very high
@@Mario-s5z3o i wasn‘t saying jho would lose, i was saying jho they had to nerf him to make it not as unfair
Loved how you illistrated just why the Deviljho in particular is so terrifying in the world of Monster Hunter.
Also, the bit with "Bonecrushung Force" is most likely talking about its eating habits instead of its combat ability, so I'm glad you guys decided to stick closer to reality in that aspect.
Would love to see "What if the Indominus Rex made it to the New World?"
Wouldn't indominus fit a similar niche to Anjanath? In a head to head I don't know who would win as on one hand it sneezes fire and on the other, I.rex is highly intelligent which could give it an edge
@@ethanstyant9704 I honestly think Indo loses against against Anjanath if it ever chooses to fight it. I think a Tobi Kadachi or Pukei-Pukei could be a good match-up, but anything Anjanath tier and above would likely have Indo looking for entirely new hunting grounds instinctively, with fear being triggered on a literally cellular level.
I got summoned by the mention of Deviljho, but almost got banished by the pronunciation of Tigrex.
"How will the Dinosaur Population deal with this threat?"
The answer is: Deviljho will get an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, then when there's no food anymore it would just move on to another place and repeat again.
Theres a Reason Why Deviljho Is Called the “World Eater” 😉
All fellow Hunters can agree, Deviljho is QUITE the prick. No pun intended, he can ABSOLUTELY put you in a pickle!
16:33 "oh you like that?" ahh movement 💀
XDDDD
Deviljho causes fear but Savage Deviljho is terror in itself.
Yes, the Savage is not touched on in the video but it is inevitable to think that Jho could be more terrifying with his variant.
