That inside drill/driver pocket actually works very well for a 12V with battery, or 18+V without battery, if you put the tool in head-first (upside-down) so the handle is sticking up.
I have the very large Home Depot "Husky" Carry-all. And I have two of their smaller versions as well as their "Husky" Electricians Carry-all. I recently bought the DeWalt Electricians Carry-all. That model you are showing us there I have never seen. A lot of trades carry the smaller, compact, screw driver drills. That's probably what that pocket is tailored for.
Slightly different question on this item, can you fit an A5 not pad in the side zip pocket of the driver pocket? I need to be able to carry documents around with me so if that’s possible this would be almost perfect.
Stacked on top of a cart of Tstak trolley or cart its perfect for transport. I like open top tool bags so had to order this from Europe as not available in US. $$$
You coulda saved yourself a bunch of time and money and just gotten the craftsman versastack version of this bag. It's literally the exact same thing, just where this ones yellow, the craftsman one is red.
Not much info there I couldn't get from the DeWalt website, was looking to see some tools go in, I wanted to see how the pockets inside hold up against a hammer or some chisels or such like. The tools are right there, chuck them in, see what happens! Also, does it have a pocket for a toolbox saw?
Hi, do you know if this bag can sit on top of the Dewalt open tote? I'm not sure if it will fall through as is has a narrower width than the open tote. Thanks.
Hi, I have the open tote but have not attempted to sit this on top. You're right about it being narrower. Tou can sit a standard closed top t stak box on the open tote, but the tool bag needs a solid top to sit on, but can still be attached/fixed.
@@JBTV Thank you for your quick response. Would it be possible to help me try that combination at your convenience. From where I am, it's only available online so I am not able to try it out. If you're too busy then it's ok. Thanks.
You can clip this one in on top of the open tote,, but if there's any sort of significant weight in thw bag, it could start to warp the top edges of the open tote as it tries to sink down into it via gravity lol.

Nice review. This Tstak bag looks great but the pocket layout doesn't look very userful.
Great review mate. In fact all your Tstak reviews have been spot on. 👌
Video was great & informative although I was looking foward to seeing the tools in the bag.
Sorry man!
Turn the drill upside down might help it fit
I was screaming this!
they should make one for the tough system
They do

Good review 👍
If you get bored of reviewing dewalt gear, you could always try being a Chris Martin lookalike 😃
