When I was a kid my mother would send me and my brothers to school with beef tongue sandwiches. The other kids would always want to trade for my sandwich. The taco wagons in my area offer beef tongue tacos but you have to get there before the tongue is gone for the day. Thanks for the informative video.
Absolutely fantastic video... I've been making Tongue ... everything for years; I have one in my freezer now and was just thinking, hmmm what should I make with it - Tacos sound delish! I usually make my own lunchmeat or thin[as can be sliced] for sandwiches on some homemade Einkorn sandwich bread... Blessings❤

I simply MUST say... I am 63 years old and my entire life i have always said the tongue is THE MIST DISGUSTING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MT ENTIRE LIFE!!! However, i will say, this video is the first time i have ever considered the idea that someday, I might actually try that organ. Who knows, mabe.

Have you ever attempted to brown the meat once the outer layer has been removed, either in the oven or in a hot skillet with some tallow?
Yeah, you definitely can brown it once it's peeled. Either in the oven or in a skillet, both work.
