I a made fish terrine with the leftovers on bones, got some flat fishes and seadevil/monkfish and we peeled a kilo of dutch shrimp, so yeah broth was excellent.
I have been making this recipe and slowly improving. You have gave me some good idea's. Don't know if you find it appealing but I have been getting free fish heads at my Asian market for years and use them to make fish broth. It's very good if you are into fish flavor. That is what I use to make dumpling. Thank you and Merry Christmas^^
That's such a great option! I don't have an Asian market anywhere near me. Getting pork trotters or lamb feet is much more accessible in my area, but I love that option!
