I haven't used FB but with whatsapp you cannot download videos that size over 8mb and you don't have the option of video calling over whatsapp.... But you can use Google Duo for video calling.
@@thewonderer9551 exactly, the one I had is Jazz digit 4G, ant it has tone loads of other features like wifi, 4G, Hotspot option, Bluetooth, it has youtube and there are no ads on that... it has google assistant. I has email options for almost all email clients. It even has PDF reader.
I'm using a feature phone powered by kaiOS with similar specs 512 mb ram, 4 GB storage and dual sim with dedicated micro sd card slot...the main drawback is this kaiOS is sluggish and way too slow. It kind of opposites the maain feature of feature phones which. Is simplicoty and robustness...... This OS is not power efficient and way too slow...

i think nokia should invest in this kind of idea. this kind of phone can hit the market big time. a basic phone that has 4g signal, capable of watching you tube, doing facebook and messanger and capable of downloading and do some basic games like candy crush, scrabble, word. it will be great if they bring back their n series that capable of doing all these. there are lot of people online do these kind of thing and still prefer a phone that has keyboard on it. atleast nokia can still keep their identity but still capable of compete in market.
i totally agree, but i hope they allow their standard apps to be removed. i don't want facebook and many of the games. i would have to do extra steps like on android to disable ads and and carrier bloatware. whatsapp is good, but would've been great with a front camera for videochat and possibly google duo in the future for the kaios store. but right now, i'm excited for the north american version of the 4G: 215, 225, 6300 and 8000.

@@linndrumfan1959 you're right!!! my bad... past week i watched nonstop reviews for the 4G model: 215, 225, 6300, and 8000. i mixed up the specs in my head. Ugh!!! and i really wanted the aesthetics and material of the 6300. imo the 8000 is ugly because of the shiny, pearly look. i've had a xiaomi and samsung with this look and for me it is a terrible attempt at replicating a glass back over a metal brushed body. and both were also slippery without an aftermarket case. the 8000 was better spec'd with a 2.8" screen, now it has the more acceptable 2MP cam. decisions, decisions... i'm questioning which one now. if only nokia xpress covers still existed.

It's sad that after more than a decade there isn't any improve on mobile phones. I still use my trusted Nokia E52 from 2009 which is superior to any today's NOKIA kaiOS phones.

I used the old Nokia 6300, its build quality is awesome, but not sure if there is a 2020 model?
Can't believe it if vga camera does good job.
This is the 2020 model, with kaiOS supporting what's app, Google maps, UA-cam, snake, Google assistant, Kai store and many more from Kai store!
and the cam is 2MP's. that's good enough for standard definition pics/vids.
