I had a DW6000 and absolutely loved it. I also had a Roland Juno 6 but felt it was a one trick pony, everything had that same sound. The DW 6000 really is a true underrated synth. Loved it!
Great video. I have owned both the DW-6000 and the 8000. I sold the 8000 but kept the 6000. It always seemed to have more punch. Maybe that was because of the the velocity sensitivity on the 8000, I don’t know. Nonetheless, the 6000 has the most wicked filters on any synth that I have owned. Thanks.
@@kayslabs Oh, I will be looking forward to it! My DW-8000 was making low volume noise (I figure I just needed to reinstall sounds at that stage) but I must have shorted something (the fuse died) and DW is not turning now. I might need a new fuse and then will need to install sounds. I don't get how preset patches of DW are installed from 'sound file'.
Very nice demo. It's to bad that Korg doesn't upgrade and produce some of these synths again! Roland did it with the Juno and the Jupeter X. Korg never listens to their customers. Too bad for them and us!
If they did like what Yamaha did with the Reface line and just made a smaller, portable version of this and the poly 800 they would be swimming in cash.
Have you never heard of the Modwave, Wavestate and now the Multi/Poly? These are indeed upgraded versions of the DW synths, the Wavestation and the Mono/Poly.

I've got one myself for about 40 years and indeed, it needs a lot of editing. Well done!

Dream Theater used DW-8000 in Pull me under. I obtained nonfunctuonal DW-8000. I mean to repair it some day! Great sounding Synths, Great demo!
I will have a DW8000 repair video going up after I finish up with the DW 6000 and a surprise addition. Stay tuned!

nice ♥♪ sounds
Impressive, thanks for sharing.
Great job!
Sounds great!
Sounds like we will be there for a few hours and then we can catch up ⬆️ the sounds
Amen
I finished with Korg years ago!
Why ?
@@petercarrington948 I originally bought a Poly 61 in 1986. In comparison, it always sounded inferior to the Juno 6/60.
