Did the guy in question at least think to add more bathrooms first? Because if it’s 14 people to 1 or 2 bathrooms that’s just inhumane and taking advantage of people. I already can’t imagine the nightmare that would be the kitchen and fridge split between 14 residents, most of which are complete strangers to each other…it’s one thing if it’s a large family feeding their 12 or 13 kids, but it’s another thing when 14 strangers are made to live together in cramped conditions potentially because they don’t have anywhere else to go.

Only the raped or molested minors can't control the potential of pregnancy. That control was taken from them by the heinous act. Those numbers out of half of our population (female) are statistically insignificant in the case of the discussion. I have seen many many many on the pro life side that support protection on the matter regarding abortion in these cases. It's only the hyperbole of the extreme left and right that omits this in the discussion. Or uses it as a bludgeon for their activist agendas. The reality is those cases (rape/incest etc) won't be improperly handled. Just think of the numbers. Those females raped each year are very few per capita, and those becoming pregnant from the rape, even more rare. But they are used as if every abortion preformed is due to these circumstances. They are statistically insignificant. But ARE a concern to both sides of the argument. As for 99% of the other pregnancies, which are through consensual activities, choices comes with responsibility. Choose wisely.

And no one's trying to ban epi-pens. I'm on the asexual spectrum. I do not voluntarily engage in pregnancy-inducing activities, mostly because I don't want to. There is no better way of preventing pregnancy other than surgical sterilization, which I can't access due to the American healthcare system being what it is. However, as a woman in the United States, I don't always get to decide whether sex happens to me. I have lost count of the number of times I've helped female friends get to hospitals, police stations, or counseling appointments after an assault. I've never personally been a victim, but I have eyes and a brain and so I know that's luck, not my own cleverness or virtue. I just haven't been in the wrong place at the wrong time--YET. Republicans have been trying to force legislation for decades, and since they can't win with laws, they've packed the supreme court with a bunch of assholes who will overturn precedent (which is actually protecting American citizens right to decide what happens to ourselves medically), just to undo a fundamental right (bodily autonomy). If Roe is overturned this way, it's the court basically saying that people, citizens, do NOT have the fundamental right to decide what happens to us medically.

Something that would be cool as a Table News skit would include Texas being super pissed at Connecticut because Connecticut passed a law that allows people who had an abortion to come to Connecticut. They won't extradite them to a state that is trying to charge them for having an abortion (i.e. Texas). And it will allow them to sue the "bounty hunters" enabled by the new Texas law. It would be hilarious to watch the states, particularly Texas and Connecticut react to that. And it would also be nice to spread awareness to people who might need it.
