  • Best chance you have, in any situation where's there's a knife involved, is to get gone! Don't fucking be there. You've got no business getting physical in such a situation, unless out of an act of sheer desperation! Get gone at the very first opportunity... Here the principle of flanking can prove very useful in such a situation! Great execution of flanking. Love the mentality of not getting to that situation before you act.

GOLD. Reading tells and cues is the most important part of self-defense. Also if he s already carrying the knife, you can always tell by his fingers or the way he keeps his hand a little behind ..... GOLD, GOLD, GOLD.

You've got to be really quick, and you've gotta avoid if they push you first or attempt to clinch you. But it's possibly easier if you manage to react quick enough if they're using their leading hand.

My only issue, in the states, when he reaches he could be reaching for a handgun or a knife. I won't know. If I just flank and run he's shooting me in the back.

Nice fight science UA-cam did a course on combating knife 🔪 disarms and attacks might be useful for the UC system. Great vids 👌 like to hear some war stories of real life where you had to use a particular move on the door be a good video. Have you seen street Kings UA-cam real fights 1 on 1 no rules pretty much. That would be the ultimate test of UC or any martial art / hand 2 hand combat skills. I'm a 100% with you on the bs that's going on in this beautiful 🌎.

I just watched a video (sent via a popular chat app) whereby lads square up to each other, one is brandishing a knife and as the lads come close he plunges it, unbelievably quick into his neck, the stabbed lad is shocked a bit and puts on a brave face, then the blood starts spurting and no more than 6-8 seconds pass and he’s collapsing on the floor. Game over! Unbelievable to watch.
They had ample opportunities to escape the situation but ego got the better of all inboard now one is dead, the other is surely being done for murder.

    Great video.
Woul you talk about the stomp you always do at the end? Does it go to the leg, the ankle or the foot, and how much damge does it make?

Crush the ankle or stomp the calf, for a mobility disruption now he has to crawl to get you! Remember context dictates content attempted weapon access is precedence to grab and stab you! This constitutes a deadly force threat! Lee M

@@UrbanCombatives any chance we could get a clip of dealing with sitting down on a sofa at a house party and someone is standing over you with high threat indictors. also maybe leading up to entering the property, like marking exit points, ID'ing possible weapons' ect ect....

Don't we think get stabbed in leg, arm flanking with, gut as we hit them in back of the head... Might be better to real life with head gear fake knife and realtime instead of just falling down... Just a thought
