i have seen a lots of videos of base jumps and skydive and i think is amazing but after all it wouldnt be the same see videos than the felling of free falling good video =)
the helmet is protecting you during the first few meters of freefall and maybe against a bird and the doors of the aeroplane. this is important enough to wear it. everything else means RIP. P.S. the chute can deploy automatically at given altitiude, unles you are base jumper in a crowded city...
I looked around on internet and it says edgar kraus died in Italy on 12-27-2006 in a base jump when his chute got caught on a ledge, this channel was created 10-31-06 less than a month before his death, and it says no one has logged in, in over 1 year ? very sad.
