    AWESOME! Congrats on the world record on a job well done, no serious injuries either. I was involved in a 60 way at Skydive DeLand and that was scary. So many open canopies in the sky is crazy! I doubt many people realize how amazing this actually is. Again, BRAVO!! nice work! Blue Skies and Bloodshot eyes!!!

    That is just an amazing display of coordination!
    Of course the lightest jumpers possible wear lead-wests or something... but still... how do the manage to know where to go? It's not like you aren't moving up there...

  • @aydree
    @aydree 15 років тому +1

    It must be such a nightmare at break-off: nowhere to go, people everywhere!! So much for the "big sky" theory! =)

  • @M4lign

    The group jump at the beginning was sick, but seeing that many people freefalling at once is unreal..

  • @carnivalwrestler
    @carnivalwrestler 14 років тому +1

    @nolanofeast This is a record. The military doesn't do relative work, except in tiny teams of 4 or 5. This is very dangerous, because it's so tight when you break off and pull. Lots of chances for freefall collisions. I saw a guy in freefall go through another's canopy (end cell) on a 36-way jewel, but they both lived.

    yes i think u need to revise u physics
    everything fall at 9.8ms-2
    BUT
    u have to take into account mass of object and the air resistance

    The freefall time varied depending on your position in the formation, but from 25,000ft you'll get around 2 minutes

    you obviously have probably never skydived and probably have never done a big way. lighter people fall slower than heavier, denser people.

    @idlh -nope. AC-130 are gunships. C-130 are cargo planes. Just like KC-130 are aerial refuelling planes, so you cant ask "OMG are those KC-130s/?", cause, no those are not EC/KC/RC/EC...and you cant jump from one of thise. You can jump out of MC but not from AC? Got it?

    Exit was at 25,000ft. The highest possible exit without oxygen in freefall, and no, no one was killed. There was only real injury and that was during landing on one of the practices. Apart from that there may have been a few sore ankles etc
