AWESOME! Congrats on the world record on a job well done, no serious injuries either. I was involved in a 60 way at Skydive DeLand and that was scary. So many open canopies in the sky is crazy! I doubt many people realize how amazing this actually is. Again, BRAVO!! nice work! Blue Skies and Bloodshot eyes!!!

@nolanofeast This is a record. The military doesn't do relative work, except in tiny teams of 4 or 5. This is very dangerous, because it's so tight when you break off and pull. Lots of chances for freefall collisions. I saw a guy in freefall go through another's canopy (end cell) on a 36-way jewel, but they both lived.
That is just an amazing display of coordination! Of course the lightest jumpers possible wear lead-wests or something... but still... how do the manage to know where to go? It's not like you aren't moving up there...
Exit was at 25,000ft. The highest possible exit without oxygen in freefall, and no, no one was killed. There was only real injury and that was during landing on one of the practices. Apart from that there may have been a few sore ankles etc
I would definitely love to be part in something like that! Skydiving is my fantasy, and I wanna make it come true before I am a granpa. I know I'll regret it if I don't!
It took 4 days of prep dives & 6 days of record attempts to get there. To see how the other jumps went, goto www.theworldteam.com and click on the "daily news". Also see the mass jump record.
That is so cool. They totally should have played Requiem for a Dream for the song though. Turn off the song and play requiem over it on your itunes.. it looks and sounds much cooler. ;P
AMAZING!!! :D my heart jumps when they shout "5..4...3...2...1... GO" :X and I clap my hands like crazy when they land safely :D, maybe I just forgot that I's not there at that wonderful moment >:D
@kptwillard naw ac 130 are originally cargo ships but the military forces do use them for gunships cause they are massive n wat do u mean how can u jump out of one it would be easy simply gettin in one and jumping out of it lol
All 400 of you, plus camera divers, organizers, and pilots, all totally kick ass!!! That brought a tear! Amazing thing to be a part of.

Has this record been broken? Love you all from DeLand. Don't be strangers.
It must be such a nightmare at break-off: nowhere to go, people everywhere!! So much for the "big sky" theory! =)
i'm guessing you don't have a life and can't afford something like this, it's worth every penny

yes i think u need to revise u physics
everything fall at 9.8ms-2
BUT
u have to take into account mass of object and the air resistance

I loved watching that 400 way. How brave all of you were. B-6370
The freefall time varied depending on your position in the formation, but from 25,000ft you'll get around 2 minutes
i think it needs very extreme organization
You couldn't beat the smiles off those jumper's faces even with a lack of beer!
You guys ROCK! 💥👍
With reason! only the best of the best can participate! I also know some of them ;)
