    Just came across your videos and I’m impressed with how much you share with the viewers. I’m from Corpus Christi, Tx and totally enjoy what you do. I imagine it’s time consuming and takes a lot of energy to put these together but I appreciate what you do and look forward to more videos. Good job brother- I’ve pretty much seen all your videos and look forward to more of them. Thanks

    Fun to see this done. Most guys pass it on to the machine shop and we don't get to see it. I'd be concerned that I'd miss a small crack.

    Great Job! .. That was so easy I think I'll have to do the same. .. Called machine shop where Im at and it was going to be $480 to do the heads .. they claim the valves would need to be replaced because they are so thin in these 5.3s ... Caught off guard on the pricing and not to mention the valves having to be replaced .. I just cant see replacing them as long as they are not bent and in good shape.

      @LowLifeYonkes  2 роки тому +1

      I have done both changing them and leaving them alone I would recommend to change them but it’s your choice. Thanks for watching

    Can u wash the heads with gasoline?

    • @LowLifeYonkes
      @LowLifeYonkes  3 роки тому

      Yes you can but I don’t recommend it it’s very dangerous I have done a hole engine with it it works well but everything smelled like gas for about 2 weeks like the garage my house ect. Again I don’t recommend it … I won’t use it agin to clean engines ever again thanks for watching

      @LowLifeYonkes  3 роки тому

      My current set up yes it passed smog just last week so I have 2 years before it needs a smog again the LS will not pass smog but I’m keeping my old setup just in case I need it later
