    • @realstreetperformance
      @realstreetperformance  8 місяців тому +2

      Depends on internals the level of break in. In any engine, its a good idea to run an engine briefly with oil and soon after drain to check the fluid, and let the internals familiarize themselves to each other. I'd like to do a more detailed video talking about this subject soon. Stay tuned for that!

    • @SR-yp3eg
      @SR-yp3eg 8 місяців тому

      From my experience ring packages and camshaft types dictate most break in procedures on builds.Contact the part supplier for this info and utilise the guidance of the engine builder.A break in shouldn’t hurt any engine but not doing it can and possibly will hurt it.Just my 5 cents 👌

    • @realstreetperformance

    • @BimmerSpeed

      What factors would you think would hinder or increase? It is a true car on a big tire and it has a good traction control system using maxxecu. It has power steering, and AC and all of the factory can bus working on the car like OEM. I am not opposed to a bigger motor I just don't want to keep breaking things from the torque. This ones about .200" - .300" and this ones about 3/4" or 19mm. Lol comparing thousandths of an inch to fractions of an inch and then only one in metric. Precision machining and aerospace units to rough construction tolerances to a unit from a different measuring system. If thats not engineering tism, idk what is. Joking aside, being able to bounce between measurement systems in your head like he can is incredibly useful for anyone remotely mechanically inclined. Embrace all the measuring systems and use them as they fit the application best IMO. The same way speaking multiple languages is incredibly useful
