    I'd like to see high comp vs low comp build and how they spool a turbo differently. I’ve always heard higher comp spools faster, but would like to see a dyno graph to quantify that difference.

      I would think it would be pretty obvious, the higher the compression the quicker and more responsive the spool.

      Seeing how much each makes N/A would be interesting too, just be cool to know how much more 12:1 comp would make than 9.5 or sum

      Higher compression not only increases response but more importantly you will make MORE power per lb of boost. Back in the day people swore you NEEDED low compression pistons for boosted applications. That's because the tuning technology lacked. Compression and HIGH compression are your FRIEND! With current tuning platforms, technology and today's tuners, high compression is where it's at for boost. (I'm talking under 11:1). There's no need to run 8.5:1 or whatever low compression pistons these days. It's all in the tuning.

    Need more dyno comparison videos, it REALLY shows the true improvements from the mods and shows where you can gain and loose power. I would love to seea comparison between a stock stroke K24 and a de-stroked or stroked K24 to see where the power TRUELY lies in the rpm band. Keep on keepin' on 🤙

    I would say different sets of cams skunk 2, dc, and whatever else. It give the people the data of how each came does in different settings.

    Interested in the the power differences with the different intake manifolds and cams. Feel the Skunk Ultra Street would do even better with the stage 2 cams. But have a hunch y’all ran the race manifold for a reason and already did the testing off camera. Great videos guys

    Since you guys have your own engine dyno, here’s some idea:
    compare an engine dyno result and a chassis dyno result of the same engine and do it repeatedly while upping the power through modifications. This will give a concrete answer if the percentage of drivetrain power loss is a constant percentage or a fixed number.

    Interesting comparison. For na a 25ish Hp gain is quite a bit just by swapping cams. Would like to see a comparison between 10:1, 12.5:1,15:1 pistons

      For each full compression ratio a gain of 4-5% is averaged
      Keep in mind of dynamic compression has to go up to also gain 4-5%

    I’ve always wanted to see what kind of power gains could be had by putting Brian Crower cams on a non-vtec B18 or B20 engine as well as intake manifolds

    Gaining a peak of 5whp at redline isnt worth loosing the 10hp low and mid range. Id like to see these cams on a boosted motor. +25whp with the stage 2 upgrade is no small gain. But the gain percentage would absolutely be higher with a boosted motor. Whats the advertised duration on the stage 2 and stage 3 cams?

    When removing the head, is it a requirement to shave it to be absolute flat again or can this be skipped it all looks okay?

      If the deck surface has no warp or abnormalities, it does not need to be machined.

    Why not just list the lift and duration ect. instead of stages. "Stages" sounds so adolescent.

      Marketing word that is more recognizable to the masses of idiots out there. Using lift and duration you might confuse a few of us. Pretty cringe either way. I'm sure you get a cam card in the box with all the specs.

      Hey good morning! I totally understand where you're coming from. At lot times people associate the term " stages " as a blanket for all levels of a build which can get very confusing especially if comparing different manufactures, and different part types. For these BC cams, they list the different cams under " stages " for their own line making it easier to refer to a camshaft spec rather than listing out the whole written spec in the title. BC does show their cam lift, duration, and more information on each listing as well as the provided cam card in each box.
