    Infact what he is doing is genius. Protecting his assets.. he’s up against very large company’s. One of them he was the founder of himself previously… just give it time and everyone will be raving about HPT. Watch this space… hard work and passion wins everytime.

    The bearing system is no joke. I went from a precision 6766 .84 t4 to an hpt 6870 .84 t4 and lost 0 spool but gained a 200hp window

      Nice! What gen precision?

    • @michaelrios9554
      @michaelrios9554 5 місяців тому +3

      6766 only came in gen 1. Regardless, you would think 4mm larger on turbine exducer/inducer should add some kind of lag.
      This allows me to go with a 1.0 A/R and not lose as much spool as I initially thought, while gaining even more power. It's a win win

      @@michaelrios9554 I totally forgot gen 2 went 6870. I’m curious on how these turbos do compared to the next gen’s.

    Same bearings already in both F2 6466s I still have in boxes from this Spring? Also a question, is there any question against warranty or operation if I coat the turbine cases in Swaintech coating to contain heat?

    • @hptturbohploilafis
      @hptturbohploilafis  4 місяці тому +3

      Great questions. The Quick Spool bearing system is in every turbo HPT builds. As for exterior coatings, that won’t affect your warranty.

    Backpressure a bigger role than bearing. It’s boost to backpressure ratio, and sure you can have low rpm boost response and low back pressure at high RPM, just use a VNT turbo

    Are they any different then pte turbos

    • @hptturbohploilafis
      @hptturbohploilafis  4 місяці тому

      Short answer- yes. HPT offers proprietary ball bearing systems in our turbos with our Quick Spool Technology. The turbos spool faster and make more power. We also offer an automatic 2 or 4 year warranty on every turbo.

      If you send me a equal turbo to a 6266 that I have on now I'll put it on the dyno and we can get some testing results on a fully built evo 8 , I currently have a pte 6266 gen 2 dbb, the people want the back to back testing , also have another evo with xona 105/69s as well to compare against

    There is no real information in this video despite being almost 6 minutes long.
    All you said was our bearing is better because it is and we say so, no explanations, no drawings, no cutaways, no information.
    I do understand that there is some intellectual property and development secrets you don't want to give away but just saying your bearing is better because you say so is not exactly informational or a healthy line of promotion to take in my opinion, you might as well have said nothing and claimed everything without any evidence or information to back it up - which anyone can do and kind of what you just did.
    At the very least if you want to keep the information about your own bearing to an absolute minimum you could inform people of different bearing kinds, drawbacks - benefits - compromises - what makes one better than the other etc, help them also pick out their turbo - give some pointers, tips and tricks about sizing etc instead of saying "Call us, people are surprised"

Show me Garrett’s drag car out C precisions drag car rubbing their own product👀👀👀. They have their own race teams setting records with their products not waiting for a customer to do it and then using that. Just my 2 cents🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

    After a look at the site, not one compressor map (how can you claim “better aerodynamics” without a flow map?) and not ONE water cooled turbo. With ball bearing turbos using so much less oil (oil restricters being a must) and no water, these things are gonna run HOT. These are Chinese turbos with massive markup. Even some chinese turbos for $300 have water cooling and for $2-$5k it’s not even an option?? I’ve personally never seen a non water cooled ball bearing turbo, and even my cars in the 90s (non ball bearing) came stock water cooled. Btw, no reputable company sells this brand on their site yet I saw another video saying they have been around 30+ years. 😮

      The percentage of people that buy water jacket turbos is very small compared to air cooled. As for the rest of what you said. Its so far from the truth and shows you dont know anything at all about turbos, the turbo industry or even business but yet your here with your peanut gallery comments making no sense and spreading pure bullshit.
