Again, thanks for watching and stay tuned for more diagnostics and repairs. 😎👍
Fan only worked on high for me so I removed the glove box without any tools. Then I was able to use the correct size torx bit in a long driver to remove the old resistor and replace it with a new one. All the speeds on the blower fan now work!
I'll need to remove the glove compartment... I would need to rig something with a thinner probe on my tester; tape or shrink tube and wire? My bet $ is just to replace the resister. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Love the music, homie. :)
FYI if you are here you can also completely remove the glove box no tools required
Thanks mate
I have the flexibility of a bridge column these days…
Your tip made my day.

@@Hoobz01 glad to be of service
Torx required is T15
My replacement part doesn’t have screw holes ? Is that a problem
Great video but I’m having a lot of trouble unplugging the wires to the resistor
Try using a tiny pick to lift the locking portion of the connector while pressing on the release tab.
What if it is stuck on high no matter what position the switch it in?
What if the fan don't blow at all. Is it the blower also?
If you unplug the fan and you get 12 volts and a good ground then yes it can be the blower. Try to give it direct power and it it powers up you can check the switch that turns it on
How did you actually remove the old resistor, I can’t seem to find out how to take it off...
