This is a great video. I bought my 07 jeep liberty off of my friend a year ago. I've done a ton of diy maintenance and repairs since then, learned a lot. But I could not figure out why the fan wouldn't run on setting 1 and 2. I super appreciate you explaining how that resistor works, that is awesome! Thank you so much
Thanks for this. I lost fan '1' years ago but in never bothered me but '2' failed today so I think I can see where this is headed. Might as well fix it now.
You can use a 90 degree pick to undo the harness BEFORE unbolting it. I couldn't get the clip off after i did it that way but found a video from A1 Auto that showed how to easily remove the clip.
what is the round piece behind the glove box (just to the right of the black and green wires in video)... our liberty has a loud hum/howl coming from it and if i tap on it, it stops for a short while. thanks.
I have guestion would the crankshaft sensor cause the vehicle to stall and skip i have dodge truck 2500 pick up with 5.9 with out turbo i change the coils and plugs still doing the same anyidea thank you
There are a bunch of things that could cause misfires. Crank sensor, a bad injector, plugged exhaust, electrical problems. You really need to get it properly diagnosed so that you dont keep throwing parts at it.

Replaced the resistor and it still only works on high speed . Why ?

okay I'm having a similar problem but my ac/heat only blows out the defrost vents on the top of the dash. What can I do to fix this?
Got the new resistor in but can't get the old resistor apart from the wires. Any ideas?
I changed mine on my 02 and no luck. Still blows on high. Any other suggestions ?

That is the actual blower motor. Yours is probably failing. Its pretty easy to replace.

If all else has been verified good, then the last item would be the ECU. And yes they can cause that issue as well.

Danny Hubert buy a damn scan tool..nobody can help you unless you’re wallet is deep and I’ll tell you a big list of parts to fire at it lol 😂
