Finally someone who explained what I should be doing on Twitter, thank you!
Hello D&D! Great talk! Lots of information for my tiny developer brain to nom nom on. Hope the trailer making is going well Derek! 👍
Good stuff, here - especially if you wanna start an indie studio (retro FPS is still going strong!)
Excellent talk, ton of good information.
Excellent talk; thanks, folks! Very insightful and helpful.
Taking notes 😄
Thanks for the tips, lots of useful information in this talk.
Great talk for figuring out what kind of marketing is worth your time at your particular stage of development. Loved it!
It's not true that you have to be very active on TikTok to have your videos reach a lot of people.
TikTok treats videos very individually and accounts that have big authority have insignificant advantage over ones that don't.
In order to acquire authority your videos already have to be very good and popular. A new account with it's first video has virtually exactly the same chance to go viral as a video that is posted by an account with 100K followers.
oh it's Derek! big fan!
His audio quality is like fine wine. Her's is like a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.
My game aims at 30+yo fans of Mechwarrior and 90s isometric action games. I guess TikTok is not the first choice for me.
Or I guess you could spend 40 hours per game devlog and posting it to UA-cam. Oh, that’s just me?
