Aaaaahhh yes so excited for this! The baaags are so good i will get some paper to scrunch up into the gift bags hahaha Awhh the little tree hanging, if we did this she deliberately would like it she loves hanging little bands from the geoboard on all sorts of knobs and fixtures. The counting sorting has been great but i need to remake one as ther other has bits falling off now. All transferring activities are so good but Omf the ice cubes reminded me of the time i brought in snow for baby Huda at 8 months at her table to play with but now this time it snowed the texture was nit to her liking though she loved shoveling and spreading gravel on our drive/road . It ws a lovely community moment for her with the neighbours all clearing the hilly road for the cars. The glue stick has been a fave the past few weeks she is deep in the connection schema hahaha. All the new sensations and changes in environment have intensified all her schemic needs i can tell Stella is loving all these activities too its great to see how much they are picking up but also when they show their own understanding of something like thr recipe structure or steps before leaving the house or communicating with understanding of what she said is so amazing. I just keep saying i love you to her randomly which i think also has helped with those intensely emotional moments where i accept her feelings and live her and set boundaries for the unacceptable behaviour too. I think she is understanding some of the emotional vocabulary from the books and myself being honest with her. It would be a great video to hear what your experiences have been so far with Stella's new emotions. If she's also had difficulty with teething or reducing her nap it might already have given you practice on using positive discipline
I'm really curious to see Stella's reaction to snow this year too 😅 So far she is just as in love with all the lights as last year! Great video idea, I'll definitely get working on that! We have been working through teething and nap chances for the past 6 months but especially the last week. Definitely a lot learned through this time 😅
Love all of your wonderful ideas! Simple, but so cool and definitely interesting for little ones. Great chance for toddlers to explore real world. Love watching how Stella is decorating her Christmas tree. So much concentration and patience. 💖💖💖
Thank you! I love how simple Montessori can be with a little creativity 🥰 I'm hoping to show it is possible to be a Montessori home without spending too much money!
Oh these are all great ideas!! Thanks Maria 😊 I’ve been feeling stuck because my child has hardly touched what I have on the shelf, I observe and introduce activities I feel she may be ready for based on what I’ve seen her do around the house (threading, matching, stickers) and she tries it out once and then wants nothing to do with it 🤷🏻♀️ oh well! I’ll keep observing and let her do her thing, and try out some of these ideas 😁
Thanks Priscilla! And that sounds just about right! Stella goes through the same phases. The bane of my existence is her rough love for our plants. She's tried all the ripping re-directing activities once, but nothing is as satisfying to her as ripping the leaves, saying "no no" and then patting them 🙃
@@MariaandMontessori ahaha poor plants but what a sweetheart 🥺💕🪴 my child is still learning to be gentle with our dog, she roughly pats her on the head and then says “nice, nice” when she sees me coming her way 😂
My daughter is almost 2. She seems to get frustrated when trying to accomplish a task and then wont move forward on figuring it out. Do you jave any helpful tips on how to encourage her to continue until she figures it out? Please dont judge me lol. Thank you.
Soooooo manny activities!!!!!! This is awesome 👏 👏 👏
🥰🥰 They're at such a fun age for activities now!!

Very nice ideas.
Thank you 🥰
Thank you for the ideas, always look forward to the activities as our babies are the same age.
Good to know! Thank you 😊
Great ideas!! I love how easily you can turn regular items into activities for kids!
Yes! That's such a great part of Montessori. It can be so simple with the items they're going to be getting into anyway 😅 Thanks Holly!

Do you have a link for peel and stick snowman at target?
Awesome ideas, thanks!
Yes! It's in the description box as "Felt snowman"! I'll try to link in the next comment but links tend to get deleted by the spam filters
