Update: sometimes when I start to charge now, it says a big amount of time again ( earlier today it said ONE DAY!). I have found that if I turn the phone off and then back on when this happens, the charging time 'till full' goes back to less than 2 hours. 😀

I use a galaxy note 8 after an update whenever I plug my phone to a powerbank it says 6h 15mins to full charge but after i did what you showed in the video... the phone is back and running big thumbs up 👍🏽 to you...i really appreciate you, you just got yourself a subscriber

Well I left it on the charger last night and this morning I was eager to check it and was totally disappointed to see that it was at only 39% after charging all night. I notice that if I unplug it and the replug my phone will say something like 1 hour and 25 minutes until fully charged, but then if I come back a few minutes later it may say 4 hours and 28 minutes until fully charged. I kid you not I just now came back to my phone to check it and it said 12 hours and something until fully charged. I think my phone is just...done for. Thanks for the vid though I really wish it helped.
I have a s10 and s10 plus and the S10 plus was very slow and seems like it wouldn't charge while using it. Followed your steps and now my s10 plus works fine. I dunno why it was playing up because my s10 charges fine but not my s10 plus. Your video helped me fix it thanks.
October 2023. This worked on my Sumsung AO2s. I had already performed Step 1 before I found your video. It didn't help. Step 2 did the trick though! I couldn't perform Step 3 on my phone...but no worries, it's working great now! Thank you!

Hi there pal. I have a samsumg S8. I have followed your advice on the 3 steps. Also I have used a NEW cable c type fast charge and a samsumg charger. However my mobile keeps saying at 10% 5Hours and 22 mins. And I have tried to clean out connection area. AND STILL NO JOY I have noticed in the battery settings There are two options Fast wireless charge (which is turned on ) Fast cable charging which gives me no option to turn it in or off .. I think Samsung have disabled this feature to make you think your phone is knackered so your buy a new one . ANY HELP OR TIPS ON THIS MATTER ?????

Plz try this... Take a q-tip and clean your phone where the charges goes, I had alot of black stuff in their that I didn't realize was stopping my phone from charging faster.

Before, when I plugged in a cable, it would slow charge and I would have to try many times of replugging it in to get to fast charge. My S9 doesn’t change right in the car, does fine in the house. And I have checked the chargers with my S5 and they are fine. I use the App, Ampere, which tells me what the phone is getting or using. I can get 2500 in the house and then in the car I may get 300, but it jumps around.

After I got to Wipe Cashe Partisans a warning in red pops up that this selection can't be undone, so what does that mean exactly, will I be erasing stuff I want to keep ? Will it mess up my files ?

Put timer on as said 1hr and 18 mins.... timer went off and it had only reached 89% and was getting hot. Turned phone off and left for few mins then charged with phone off. Reached 100% in no time at all. Anything to worry about? First time use! My old S8 never experienced anything like this.
Before when I plug my J6+ the battery percentage just wont increase and often decreases when I start using it while plugged after doing this Im shocked to see the percentage go up.
I did all the steps and nothing happened. I have Galaxy A50, it still shows me: "Check your charger connection". I don't know what to do. All cables are plugged correctly, no dirt inside, hard reset done, still don't know what is the problem :/
