I absolutely love this album. This was the moment Blink-182 showed they could do more. If you listen to the 2 albums before....You understand what a big step Self-Titled was. Iconic album in Poppunk!
Really enjoying your reactions. You have the perfect mix of talking and emotion. You dont interupt the music often and mainly show emotion. Keep up the good work.👍
You have to listen to Take Off Your Pants & Jacket by Blink 182! Full of bangers & classics and I think would be more your speed/what you're looking for.
Scott Raynor was the original drummer for blink 182 but was replaced by Travis in 1998. Tom and Mark are the lead singers, Tom was later replaced with Matt Skiba in 2015
Enema of the State has the definitive Blink 182 style and is probably the most influential pop punk album of all time. Then, a more experimental one would be Neighborhoods (2011). That's a pretty solid modern version of their style. Good reaction btw!
Enema of the State and Take off Your Pants and Jacket is probably their best work if you want to check out more of them. It's at least their most highly regarded, along with the self-titled album too!
@@Richlucch They’re not really wrong, Untitled was when they really stepped up their songwriting and moved beyond doing the typical pop punk sound, it’s still there in places but they showed they were capable of doing more and could actually evolve
as a die-hard blink fan (and I think this is their best album), I love how much you feel and vibe to every song even if it's not gonna make your playlist. that shows how much you really love music. great review
I’d recommend checking out Enema of the State and Take off Your Pants and Jacket. Dude Ranch is also great. Of course if you want the full blink experience their live album The Mark, Tom and Travis Show is phenomenal! There’s also a recording of their live set on Big Day Out from 2000 which could be worth checking out
their self-titled album was the first time they've had time (and money) as a band to experiment with different guitars, drums, and sounds. so what you're hearing is definitely a departure from what blink use to be, but still retains the signature catchy guitars and drums of the blink sound.
Major blink here, this is my favorite one by them but it's not the album I use to first introduce someone them as at the time this was a major leap for them. I'd love I think reacting to Dude Ranch, Enema of The State or Take Off Your Pants & Jacket is the way to go before jumping anything that was released in the last decade of their career. My 3 fav blinks album are Dude Ranch, Self-titled and TOYP&J. Also high recommend watching their music videos.
you’re definitely hearing tom testing the angels and airwaves sound out here in the later tracks. you’re also hearing smith in all of this; lead singer of the cure. this video is old and im sure im repeating comments, but listen to the cure song just like heaven then hear blinks cover of it. once you hear the cure songs, you will hear the influence in blink
Angels and Airwaves reaction pls! After the break-up of Blink 182, singer Tom DeLonge formed a new band. Try to explore this area and make a response. Albums like We Don't Need To Whisper, I-Empire.
😵 thanks for checking out they album, it’s definitely a departure from their usual stuff, this one more serious, and the other ones are kinda fun and goofy (you heard the boner intro lol)
I'm not the biggest Blink fan in the world, and a large part of my moderate attachment to Blink is from childhood nostalgia and them simply being part of my life, but this is my favorite album from them. I think this album is like a 7.8/10 to me, Take off your pants and jacket is a 7.4/10 to me, Enema is a 7/10 to me, and then Dude ranch is like a 6.8/10 to me, Neighborhoods is a 6.3/10 to me. And the rest I haven't listened to them enough to give a fair rating.
Asthenia is about an astronaut stuck in space debating whether he wants to return to Earth and the stress of his life there. "Should I go back, should I go back, should I?
Idk if you know but the Stockholm syndrome interlude is a letter from marks (bassist of the band) grandfather to his grandmother when he was in WWll I believe that’s right but I’m not entirely sure tho
I'd like to go on record, and state that Stockholm syndrome should have totally made the Playlist haha. Also, this was their fifth album. Cheshire cat, Dude Ranch, Enema of the State, And Take off your pants and Jacket came before it. Good video bro.
Personally I didn’t really like this album the first time I listened to it. A lot of the fan base loves this album but I feel like they have better albums out there. My personal favorites are Enema of the State and NINE, maybe check out those

This is considered one of their more serious albums compared to their earlier records, maybe you'll feel "Enema of The State" more ⬇️
The stockholm interlude is marks grandpa writing to his grandma from war
I just got Dennis Reynolds vibes from that track I couldn't stop laughing.
And actress Joanne Whalley (?) is the one speaking through the interlude.
Really enjoying your reactions. You have the perfect mix of talking and emotion. You dont interupt the music often and mainly show emotion. Keep up the good work.👍
Thank you, that's exactly what i try to bring 💯
You have to listen to Take Off Your Pants & Jacket by Blink 182! Full of bangers & classics and I think would be more your speed/what you're looking for.
Not Now would have been the best song from this album if it had made it

My top 3 off this album
3. Stockholm syndrome
2. Down
1. Go
Great video!

I think self titled is their best work but enema and take off your pants and jacket are close seconds.
self titled is 100% their best work in my opinion
Self titled and dude ranch for me

Robert Smith is vocalist of ''The Cure''.

This guy would hate dude ranch

angels and airwaves
please listen!
Album is a fucken gem! next to enema and dude ranch. Love blink! 🤘
keep doing blink! you can go backwards - "take off you pants and jacket", then "enema", etc.
The letter is from Marks grandfather addressed to his wife while at war in world war ii
I want you to do box car racer next
All of the blink-182 albums are awesome Buddha is about them growing up and the through the end with neighborhoods they grew up
Although it isn’t really your taste im glad you at least listened to the album and exposed yourself to it. Thanks
Love the honest reaction man. Love seeing an outside perspective on my favorite band.👏🏽
Best album ever

This album was the entrance into my Blink phase lol. ⬇️
Idk if you know but the Stockholm syndrome interlude is a letter from marks (bassist of the band) grandfather to his grandmother when he was in WWll I believe that’s right but I’m not entirely sure tho
The fallen interlude rap was incredible
This album 🔥 fs it wasn’t very popular when it came out with people
WHICH ALBUM SHOULD I DO NEXT? (POLL IS ALREADY MADE) 🚫
PVRIS - All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell
Or All Time Low - Nothing Personal
Blink-take off your pants and jacket or enema of the state
The Open Door - Evanescence !! :)
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket - Blink 182
Garbage - Garbage 2.0 🟠
The album that denoted they could do much more than just pop punk.
I couldn't help laughing when he yawned at Robert Smith because Lullaby came to mind instantly haha
Love, love, love this album, but I can see where it's aquired taste. You would definitely like Enema or Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.
