- Australian boxer Jeff Horn is the antithesis of all things boxing. He bears no tattoos, he doesn’t engage in pre-match “trash talk” and, if he has an ego, he keeps it on a tight leash.
Yet his story has reinvigorated a popular interest in sport that has long been on the margins.
The story of his evolution from bullied schoolboy to PE teacher to giant-slaying world champion earned Horn the Sport Australia Hall of Fame’s The Don Award for Most Inspirational Athlete.
Now he’s looking to his future fights in a return to the ring to prove he can become one of the legends of the sport.
