We spoke to him about his rise in boxing, his influence on the British boxing scene and how he wants to leave a legacy on the sport.

What a retarded comment. BT Sports bought the TV rights for the fight. Sky sports didn't want to put on Khan-Crawford as a PPV at 4:00am, BT sports did so of course will do documentary & other coverage to try to sell the PPV. BT sports bought the fight as stand alone, nothing to do with promoters like Frank Warren & his TV deal with BT Sport. Only way Khan can join BT Sports is if he signs with Frank Warren, Warren is the same guy who Khan left. Warren was the one after Khan got knocked out cold by Prescott was in a rush trying to sign Prescott while Khan was semiconscious. Khan later left Warren to join Oscar. Also Khan's fights were always shown on Sky Sports in the UK even after he left warren. Skysports have covered Khan for years & even put a Sky PPV fight for Khan vs washed Barrera for a ranking belt.
After Khan gets flattened he will probz retire so its not needed
B PM, Khan is signed to Haymon. Matchroom deal isn't like most other fighters. Besides, streaming services such as Dazn about to crush Sky in a matter of years. Sky will have to remove itself from boxing just like HBO.

So far Amir Khan has fought 12 World champions (Crawford not included yet) and only lost 3 times (Peterson not included) and is still hated on by British boxing fans, let than sink in....
I think that's more to do with the stories in the press about him. I wouldn't believe anybody in the UK begrudge his boxing achievements.
I don't like pulling the race card since I live in UK myself but I guarantee if he was white no one on British soil will hate him .

Khan is a true champion. His opposition is mind-boggling, he has been fighting only the best. Win or lose, he's still a Champion with huge balls who has never flinched in front of the challenge.

Then dominating British boxing, becoming 2x world champion by 24 years old, fighting 13 world champions and beating 11 world champions.

I remember when my family had a BT landline and they would overcharge me with calls we didn't make but now I got to give it to them. They are setting the tone, as a sport fan I love it, they made sky and other networks step it up, boxing is thriving now and it began with Amir khan getting that silver medal

@Nigel Lai most fights have a rematch clause it doesn't mean it's going to be close or be a draw. Khan will definitely be knocked out some where down the stretch around 7 rounds. He is just not the same fighter he once was 5 6 year's ago an even then he would not of beaten Crawford.

Been watching khan since 2004, as a british pakistani muslim , he gave me motivation and inspiration when i was 11/12 and watching him, the motivation has also helped other people similiar to him in the world and he is a legend already thank god

I'm convinced Amir Khan is hated by the British public because of his background and ethnicity. He doesn't come across as a bad guy nor is he overly arrogant (especially by boxers standards). His speed was second to none and is a two time world champion. He also represented his country in the Olympics and got a silver. What I respect most is his desire to step in the ring with anyone and fought 13 world champions, he had heart and his fights were all exciting, win or lose. By no means is he an all time great but in his prime he was world class. Now compare the love that Ricky Hatton had compared to Amir Khan and I think it's obvious what the reason for the hate is.
