Interesting point about marathon/sprinting. I boxed as a kid in the 90s...never went pro or anything..but My coach would have us do these extended sprints. For instance. We would run 100 yard all out sprint..catch breathe for 10-15 sec...go again...Repeat for like 20-30min. It wore us the fuck out...but it was conducive to boxing. As time goes by I really think my coach was ahead of his time with that bc all other guys I boxed that didnt train with me...didnt do that. ANyway...great point

Floyds elbow touched him a couple times,but not 16x and it never hit ortiz hard enough to hurt him, cut him or bruise him.floyd uses the shell defense where floyd kind of sticks his elbow out to raise his shoulder higher above his chin. Hes not intentionally trying to hit ppl with an elbow. But never the less i think the headbutt was from frustration ortiz started to feel with his inability to hit floyd cleanly and urgency that his eyes where starting to swell and he was eating big shots
It's one fucking loss. That last fight was still impressive by Ortiz. The dude deserves top quality competition

Ortiz needs to do more than that. If he keeps on getting into the type of wars he's been getting into, he won't have to worry about making a comeback. He will burn out before his time and have a short career like Fernando Vargas, Riddick Bowe and a few others. He should start by finding a new manager and possibly a new trainer.
