    It's cool. The west coast is on fire. It made things where i live look slightly foggy for like a week. I could stare at the sun without sneezing or it hurting my eyes. Fucking crazy. Stay safe

      We'll likely have something along those lines once we're closer towards the end of Pre-Alpha development - we wanna have a functioning demo before that.

    For the thing with perspective, maybe an isometric perspective would be helpful to keep the squares as squares.
    Also, the fact that the table is 2 tiles wide meaning single chairs will always be off center is really unpleasant to me. I think there should (at some point) be an option to move something to the middle of 2 tiles, making it take up 2 tiles in the process for the sake of symmetry.
    About the potions, maybe choose a different way to represent them, like a spell? Because a potion is, as you say, consumed, so without some sort of magically refilling bottle you will have to explain the way these work to the player. If you call them spells people will be more used to the way they work from mobas/etc.

      - Isometric has the issue of not having the same tone as a standard grid - it is inherently more game-y, and can make the view of the player character less personal.
      - Actually that's a really solid point - I'm actually about to fiddle with how furnishings' coordinates are placed, so this might be able to be implemented very soon.
      - For the potions, the first tiers are like once a day potions, so the explanation is that refilling your stash is part of your evening routines when you head to bed (in addition to explicit evening activities you can do to refill some potions that require that extra time). Spells already exist in the game, and function rather differently - potions also allows for a resource sink/longterm goals.

      Also on the potion thing, it isn't without precedent either - games like Path of Exile have a similar mechanic (if not a very different genre).
