Yay! New Video!
Really looking forward to see/read about the world you are building here. And my mind has lots of little ideas that might make this intersting or little stories that might pop up in a world like this.
While honestly not *super* necessary for the game, I'm really happy with the world and all the set pieces we've written for the greater world beyond Lakeshore.
I was worried during the first 5 min of the demo, but progressively was reassured and inspired as you revealed the program progress. 2.5.x is looking good! I enjoyed watching the unfolding and understand the core design is crucial to get right and can take awhile, slow is fast. Side projects often have the longest timesinks in the first 50% and last 10% keep it up 👍
I'll be honest, this game sounds super fun! Magical libraries?!?! I'm hooked lol! Thank you for blessing us with another upload, and take all the time you need! Quarantine has been weird
(I'm so super excited for it to be further along haha - the common wisdom is to make what you'd like to play >_
I'm extremely impressed
I've been trying to learn coding to make a hot air balloon game, but adhd and autism make it hard. This is nice though, still relaxing and not stressful
Great to see you back!
You probably have already thought of this, but having who burned the library down be a mystery that a player could solve would take away the feeling that it just happened to set the game up.
Definitely keep going, this seems amazing. It honestly makes me wish that I could code.
Oh the mystery of the ashen library and its previous bibliomancer is core to the story of the game ;)
absolutely love this holy smokes
Saved my day!
hey lyly its so nice to see you againnnnnnnnnnnnn. i send loats of virtual tacos from mexico to you
I do like a good taco.
If your books are short stories and they are good, this game is going to be great. Great to have u back!
Most of the books are just titles and a short abstract describing the book, but there will be a fair few fully readable books by the end that you can read.
Welcome back!
Pretty fucking excellent.
But amazing work Lily!
Thanks! I'm really happy with how it's going!
I envision it as library stardew
It's in the same genre of "community sims" that most farming sims fall into, but also things like Animal Crossing. In most of those games there's some sort of museum/collection mechanic, and in LI you're running that.
Two questions, are you excited about the election, and are you excited about CK3? ❤
Absolutely not and absolutely yes.
You have a very appealing and yet odd demeanor. I'd be your friend in real life.
What are you making this on?
