  • Sorry about the facecam - I was playing around with some lighting stuff and messed it up and it ended up being overexposed and made me look bad haha.

I think the plan to go into a smaller game that will be built upon is great. You’ll see more of how it works and i think thatd be motivating.
Thank you for the update! I’ve been following it for a while and will be jazzed when it starts becoming real.
    I vote for Hobbit Bunnies!!
They can also be evil as a little treat :)

    1. I'm pro colonistic bunnies.
1b. Insert Anya from Buffy joke here.
    2. I can't believe Chandra, Jace, and Teferi were expelled.
2b. But I can believe Teferi was expelled twice.
Is the expected gameplay resource real time or game time to do library / after work tasks? Like is this doing a task in among us, or is it persona 5 and time moves forward?

Generally I'm thinking (in both the original design and the modified design I got to by the end here) that it'll still be a system where unless you're in a menu or dialogue or something, time is always moving forward, and eventually the day will end and you have to close up the library for the day.
The change in shift to the "running the library" core gameplay means there's a much more distinct split between time you allocate for the library being open and the time you spend out in town (or in the library rearranging things while patrons are around). It'll be a paradigm shift when in the mid-game you get to the point where you can leave the library open while you go out into town (because you have support staff and whatnot) and run errands even mid-day if you need to without leaving the patrons to their own devices.

I haven't put together a slideshow in ages before this haha. Honestly it worked really well and I'll be using them more often for future videos.

Hi lily a question, i would love to learn how to code, any advice or tips how to start?

Well, it all depends on what you want to do with coding - it's a broad field after all. The way I learned was having a small project I wanted to work on and seeking out the things I needed to know to be able to make that, after learning the fundamentals of the language I was going to work in. The language you use will depend on what you're looking to do, as different ones have different strengths and purposes.
If you're completely new to programming, I'd recommend checking out some tutorials on either python (good general-use language) or javascript (good for if you want to do webpage-based stuff).

@@LilysLibrary Thank you for your answer, i thing i would star with java.

One thing to note is that Java and JavaScript are completely unrelated languages - Java is a lot less friendly to get into.
