World building is extremely fun, Ive been writing a very contained "world" for a roleplaying campaign which I probably will never run due to confidence issues, but I have gone into so much detail with a full history so that it feels lived in. Ive used some real historical "points" as inspiration and also the evolution of settlements too. Fun video to listen to while writing too.
Perception is fun to play around with, for example having players run around for months thinking they are the good guys to have it finally hit them that "hang on we are the bad guys" because of how their actions have been explained to them. If that makes sense...
