The "game" does know where you are at all times and gives the AI hints occasionally to push it in the right direction towards you but not the exact location. If you stay in the vents too long, it will come in there looking for you.
Here's a tip; don't stay in one place for too long. The longer you stay in the same spot, the more likely the Xenomorph will find you, especially in vents. In that area, I reccomend throwing a noisemaker or something into the room with the android then dipping into the vents real quick, following that outside of the lab.
@@a.harrison3721this is true because Xenomorph actually has 2 brains, one of them always knows your location and tells about it to the other one the other one uses that information to check various hiding spots and surrounding rooms to find the player. Xenomorph's AI was definitely way ahead of its time (still is)
What infuriated and frightened me most was the sound of the hatches opening, it is similar to the sounds of a growling alien, every time you pass by a hatch it opens and makes this sound that gives you goosebumps)))
Finished the game a day ago, had chosen the hard difficulty and I had no single idea about Xenomorph's AI at first, but the second time he tried baiting me by waiting at the tunnel entrance i knew that he was adapting as fast as hell to everything. After that i've hid in places totally random so he couldn't figure my next move. Mission 17 was a real test for me though, i never expected him to resist fire each encounter due to excessive usage of flamethrower or molotov.
I was thinking, "Shyt, shyt, shyt, shyt. Get out of there ! Now ! Get to the choppa !" You were venting way too long. That thing will sniff you out sooner than later. Few places you can stay for long. Vents are not one of them. Good thing you're good at laying pipe, eventhough it only prolonged your inevitable death.
i remember the time when the xenomorph saw me escaped to vent. I heard the vent opened, the hissing sound and the stomp of xeno. I turned off the lights and waited for it at the corner. When I see the subtle reflection on its head, the teeth. I quit immediately.
It helps playing this with headphones! You can really hear everything going on, especially when the Xenomorph starts moving again, by playing this with a good set of headphones. This game still puts anyone on edge, man. Nostalgia! It hits most if you come from the old days watching the old films and played the old video games. And now, Romulus. 😱👽☠️
Why the hell near the end of the video did you tried to attack the Alien with a stun baton ? All the time wasted hiding to end up offering yourself up . Pure nonsense ffs

It's like the alien always knows where you are when you're in a vent with it, no matter how quiet you are.
Alien definitely has a sixth sense
Didn't you know?
The Xenomorph's A.I. is one of the best made A.I. made in the video game history. The developers really made it smart 🤓👽
Well in the novels they have shown they love playing with victims like cats to protect hive
You were kidding , right ??

If you did that in real life, you'd obliterate your ear drums.
If I did that in real life I’ll be cover in shrapnel and acid blood😂
@@CloudHair16 the alien is one thing but fuck i hate facehuggers they jump out of nowhere
He got me in this EXACT spot. The amount of fear and rage I got was unreal. Fun asf tho I would actually do it again
They don’t make horror games like this one
I’ve completed it like 6 times now

This is true. I tried this out a couple time, stayed in one place, kind of well hidden too, and Xeno found me pretty quickly.
I M stuck with two xenos in hard mode😢

This one was just too terrifying for me to finish. So embarrassing. LOL
you're not alone. I couldn't get past the reactor/nest
@@mattiabaldisserotto8935the reactor was a nightmare!
Why would you try to attack it with the stun baton?!?! 🙃🫠
At that point Ik it was over but I was going out fighting 😂😭

Only a matter of time before the alien gets you. Best to out fighting 😂
Given enough time the xenomorph will eventually find you. Always gotta stay on the move

I say this as a compliment. The level designers were psychotic heartless aholes.

It's honestly a brilliant game. You should try it.

The Xenomorph on the vent is a precursor for Poppy Playtime’s Huggy Wuggy lmaaoo
If this was a real situation… that very last scene and attempt to attack, yeah I could see something happening EXACTLY like that
Yea bc it’s either piss it off so it’ll kill you right there or it takes you to meet the facehuggers and we all know how that ends💀

Why did you try to stun it
Stood my ground with whatever weapon I had available 😂
