I love it when knock offs don't really know what they want to rip off so they just slap a bunch of random pictures and logos from things that they think the kiddies like these days. For example, you'll have a box full of knock-off avengers members AND justice league members (basically swapped color palette on all the fake toys) and then, on the box you'll have pictures of the power rangers, 2 different versions of batman, the avengers movie poster, the justice league cartoon opening screen and the label will say something like "Super Power Avenging Heroes of Justice League" with a typo.

This is why I've never understood why people gripe about it in the first place. Partsforming is only a huge problem for collectors wanting to have the entire toy with nothing missing. And complaining about that is like complaining about GiJoes being packaged with too many parts because some tend to get lost/broken with play easily.

The store is known as Tuesday Morning. They do get mostly high end merchandise especially Italian sheets (800 thread count! Nice!), towels, comforters. They also sell a mixture of small furniture, lamps, paintings and home goods. For the most part the products they carry are quite well made.
Your videos make me want to go through all my old toys. My folks were big on me keeping my old toys because my dad remembered seeing so many of his old toys becoming worth a lot of money. I know I have some GoBots, Transformers and others. I even have some of those Supernaturals decorating my garage.

I remember very rarely using the instructions when I got a Transformer. I also remember getting a really cheap knock off one at a local grocery store (one of those with the cheap, crappy toy section) when I was a kid. It was okay except it's legs wouldn't fully straiten so it could stand and it's head, which would go inside the body when it was an Army jeep, wouldn't stay up in robot form. :)

i've got one exactly the type of the freihterpan except its reconnoitre. i got it from a small asian import shop that always had loads of knock-off toys i loved buying just for the laughs. i always kept it in the packaging as its part of the charm but you have also reassured me its probably the only thing keeping it together in one piece and is thus best left in there.

The motorcycle and drill guys from the combiner weren't part of the set that's being ripped off, which was called Menasor. Those two came from Computron, a completely different Autobot combiner.
Two of those are actually Technobots. The fun thing about Combiners was that you could mix and match between the sets, sometimes out of necessity after you lost one or more of them. Plus, God knows why, but they made them so that the four limbs were interchangeable. I guess if you lost one of the leg-bots, you could swap out one of the arms so he could at least continue to stand around and not be all that poseable.
The price on that label is before taxes. There is then a Sales Tax that varies from state to state. In my state of Connecticut it is 6%. So a $4.99 item would have 30 cent tax, making the total cost, $5.29
One time I saw this bootleg transformer at a flea market, it was this tiny-ass yellow thing that kinda looked convincing until you looked at the back. They called him Optimus Primal.

Isolder74 It's also an issue when parts become integral for the vehicle mode. In some cases if you lose parts then the vehicle mode looks incomplete.
