Hi! The displacement map is the same height map? very insightful video, thank you for taking the time explaining each one! my professors wont even bother to explain such important information.
Best end-to-end, 3D modeling tutorial out there! If rendering causes my application to crash but my OS meets the system requires, do you have any recommendations?
@@henryfive8862 Yes there is another way to do the same. You can extract the displacement map from ZBrush. The geometry should be selected in lower Sudiv level. Then go to Tool - Displacement Map - Create Displacement Map. (Make sure Smooth UV is on). You will get displacement map.
I am so confused about the displacement map thing, the whole tutorial is great but I am just stuck there, how did you get the displacement map? Is it from Zbrush or Substance painter? I looked for other tutorials as well but none seem to work
Hello, thank you for this tutorial. the Hight map that im using as a displacement map is applying the depth created in sb, such as the moss hight, but all my carvings i sculpted in zbrush are missing. I baked before exporting my textures which solved a few problems but my sculpting is still missing. Update: I started a new project and baked high over low, without adding any information i exported my textures and realized my height map is just a gray image. my normal map does have my zbrush carving information but for some reason when i use it as a displacement map in maya, all my branches are becoming thick with round edges not pointy edges.
Yes sure. In this case I have actually created Displacement map as height map. If you go through the series you will get it in substance painter. But yes, in future I will show how to get it in ZBrush.
@@Trimitkala i was try used height map for created displacement map but haven't detail we created in zbrush. So i'm waiting your next video. Thank you so much again because your tutorial, it's very useful ^^
@@Trimitkala I have watched the series and followed your steps, but I didnt get a Displacement map from Substance Painter. I only got Hight.tga, Mixed_AO.tga and ofc Normal map etc. I downloaded both png and targa (targa was the file you chose in the video) but still didn't get a Displacement Map.

it took me this long to find out how to improve my imported maps to look sooo goooood...Thank you ! you have helped this man
Thank you so much for spending the time to educate us. This is priceless information. Best wishes
thank you for the long journey through this tutorial, wish you all the best!!!
Thank you for the phenomenal tutorial series. I found it very insightful in understanding this kind of workflow. Hoping to see more :)
Thanks, sure 👍.
Its really good tutorial, thanks you so much, keep teaching us more, i appreciate what you are
Hello Sir, I didn't see you exported displacement map. Where did you get the Dis Map? From Zbrush or Substance?
Great series sir......very helpful
Oh my God. It's amazing. Thanks a lot.
Thank you very much🙂.
Awesome series, got to learn many things properly.Really appreciate it.Thank you.
Wonderful series, thanks you for sharing!

please can you show us how did you export displacement maps ???
Thanks for your great lectures it's easy to understand the subject. why not you do a lecture on render settings and look development.
Yes of course, the next tutorial on look development. 🙂
Thank you so much for this tutorial. 💗
finally to then end...
Thank you very very much for this cours!!!

Sir, can you please make a video on maya-> zbrush-> substance painter workflow
It will be helpful 😇
Sure 👍.
@@Trimitkala Can you, please, tell us how you did displacement maps. Height maps doesn't work right. Just one your comment, thank you.

@@Trimitkala Many thanks, and then we don't use the height map we generated in substance, right?
@@henryfive8862 Yes, you are right.
You're the best, thank you!
great tutorial, thank you for making it!
This was amazing, thank you so much!
it was very nice bro
Is there a way to combine the leaves and tree base, and have it one texture sheet ? To import into unity
Nice render

Thank you very much🙂.
awesome video sir ❤❤❤ sir one question, we will add normal map to bump map...but where we have to add the height map?
Displacement map.
@@Trimitkala thank you sir 👍👍
my displacement map shows nothing and I dont know why, any idea ?

Hello,
I have some questions about your modeling, is there a way I can directly message you?
Do you have Facebook or instagram?
