Welcome back to my channel for another #watercolor tutorial and for this one I'm not using any sort of reference to guide me, I'm just simply being free and painting from imagination. When I paint this way it's very forgiving and there really are no rules or limitations, I like to see it as I'm responding to the watercolor pigments and letting them dictate the painting I'm only there to facilitate and manipulate here and there. There's a real spontaneousness to using this approach and it's exciting.
I'm using Fabriano artistico paper for this one which is 140lb rough surface and squirrel mops with my liner brush for trees sticks and branches.
