Love your videos and your style. Enjoy watching style your mother mother I’m 61 years old. I would love to see maybe a capsule you would put together for her
Thanks, Elena! I am loving the white apron skirt from Mango! So much I am this close to ordering it, just wondering which one to get - the white or the black? 😅 I think the white is just something else - it will be a refreshing touch to any outfit, whilst the black might get lost. Happy to get a discussion going. 😂 Hugs and stay cool in the heat wave!❤
Also fully agree on the cut and fabrics, there is no force that can make me wear a slim jean in the heat of high summer… No way! Hence, I am rocking my light loose onesies and staying cool. Some of my fav summer savers are made from silk, linen, light cotton and viscose. I love them and they’ve never let me down.😊
I have a question. I am a large on top, sometimes, extra large, but a solid medium on the bottom. I find loose dresses like you are showing make me look large all over. How can I style these types of dresses.
Loved the video. And I really loved seeing your mother in the video. I especially loved her Long hair. I'm 69 and sure that I'm older then your mother but my hair is the same length as hers. Sometimes I feel like I should cut it. But I like it long and so does my husband. I also like the option to be able to wear it up or down. For me, It's nice to see long hair on women of all ages. Ty again for the great video.
Thank you for sharing the Excellent tips for choosing the right and comfortable clothes in this hot summer. I live the country where summer is the main season. You mentioned the cloths fabric categories, which we need to choose for our comfort. I appreciate your this level of details. Love and Respect 😍😃😇❤
Hey there! I love watching your channel. I have a question that you may be able to answer. Well, thank you for your comment! I wish someone would do a video on how to beat the heat at work. I work in a warehouse and am continuously looking/researching appropriate, cooling and comfortable clothing to wear. I am an Equipment Operator, so when driving an order picker (specifically )I am harnessed in. Loose clothing is not practical. There is no air conditioning and it gets extremely hot. Ellena, you look gorgeous in everything you wear cause you are slim and skinny, but what about styling for us “normal women” who don’t have the godess body??
I barely wore a winter coat in winter in the midlands this last year - I don’t think it was a very cold winter just wet. I’ve been looking for a decent winter coat for years and never found one, then it gets to spring and it’s not worth buying one then 😳 I don’t like excessive heat, my perfect is about 22! After that I’m too hot 😂
I only wear linen in the summer, cotton is too hot for post-menopausal me in my super-hot, Mediterranean climate. I haven’t had any use for those deeply cut-in tanks with deep armholes, either, especially as a petite. They’re not bra-friendly, either, the straps are cut too close to the neck. Most high-street brands also make tops and dresses too low-cut for us petites, too. I don’t show cleavage, it’s not classy, especially during the day, so petite brands, and or Asian-designed brands, which are both more modest and more petite-cut, work better for me. Even though I’m of Euro-ancestry, I’m small, not all of us are as tall as the models clothes are designed for. The average woman in the US, where I live, is only 5’4”, about my height. Sadly, the average dress size is now US16/UK 20, much too fat for a woman of this height. It will, and already is, having negative lifespan and health consequences.
Dear Elena why are you using flashing lights in you videos? They are so distracting and uncomfortable for my eyes that I could not continue watching. A great pity as I so much enjoy your videos. Cheers from Monika

Thank you sharing your tips. I live in South Florida where it can be very hot and humid an trying to find outfits can be a challenge at times.
You’re right I do appreciate the clips of your mom. I have almost the exact same dress. I need to add the accessories 😊
Lovely to see your mum, equally chic! 😊
Thanks for some 2 piece outfits!! I love in Florida, where is summer 3/4 of the year!!

You are so creative! Great videos.
Where do you find the links, I haven’t being able to find them, can someone share this info? Thanks
Ellena, I’m looking at the blue dress you are wearing from & Other Stories. You say it runs big. Usually are you a size S? UK 8/10?
Are you in Portugal? My husband and I are visiting there at the end of the month!😊
Hi! Cool video as always! I just wanted to mention: Lyocell and Tencel are the same thing. Maybe you meant to say Viscose?
Well, thank you for your comment! Practically, you are right, but there are important nuances to mention here: Tencel is a higher-quality option of lyocell and is also a brand name for a specific type of this fiber. Lyocell is a more general category. Since Tencel is a trademarked brand, only one company can use this word on their labels. So customers might see different terms on product labels, which is why I consider it important to mention both lyocell and Tencel in my video! ☺
@@EllenaHue thank you for the info!
Why. Do you not put links to the actual clothes you are wearing, particularly the blue dress?
I love all your ideas. brilliant.❤❤.

My main issue is the lower half. Currently, I wear sweat shorts, sweatpants or joggers. They are loose enough but don't get in the way of safety. I have yet to fight the ultimate underwear. Until I do, I actually change them every 4 hours (I work a 12-hour shift and I get very sweaty). Even though it is a warehouse, I am still conscious of my outfits and my style. Sweat wicking and cotton do not always work, in this situation. Any ideas???? Anyone...may not be the platform for this since the outfits here are more about leisure, office workwear and vacation. But, I am hopeful since fabric content and cut is discussed I could gain more insight into my situation.

The long shorts (right above the knee or a little below) are not flattering on most people.
Agreed.

Ellena, you look gorgeous in everything you wear cause you are slim and skinny, but what about styling for us “normal women” who don’t have the godess body??
What heat? In the North of England I'm still wearing my winter coat some days.😂

I’ve been looking for a decent winter coat for years and never found one, then it gets to spring and it’s not worth buying one then 😳 I don’t like excessive heat, my perfect is about 22! Don't you ever use hats? It is a vital part of my summer wardrobe . There's soo much you you can do with them.
?????
I only wear linen in the summer, cotton is too hot for post-menopausal me in my super-hot, Mediterranean climate. I haven’t had any use for those deeply cut-in tanks with deep armholes, either, especially as a petite. They’re not bra-friendly, either, the straps are cut too close to the neck. Most high-street brands also make tops and dresses too low-cut for us petites, too. I don’t show cleavage, it’s not classy, especially during the day, so petite brands, and or Asian-designed brands, which are both more modest and more petite-cut, work better for me. Wow. What a comment.
Wearing a scarf and a black leather bag when it's hot is silly.
