Thanks for the encouragement to wear minimal makeup hair. I can get lazy, especially when I am just home doing laundry. I always have to do a last minute errand or someone knocks o the door and then I don't feel as good about myself. Consistancymakes a difference over time. I appreciate your photos demonstrating the difference that two minutes makes. DidI miss something? The last graphic of the list shows five tips at 12:50 but I did not see another list that goes up to 7 as noted in the title. I am guessing that preparing an outfit in advance might be one tip. I keep a portable laundry cart with several outfits hung with accessories. I give myself several options for different weather conditions and include jackets or coats when appropriate. As I am putting away clean laundry, I put together combinations that i have not tried before including belts, necklaces, bags, shoes. It forces me to make sureall the pieces i want to combine are clean and not creased and it helps me to avoid running out without accessories because everything is in one place and ready to go. This iscritical for me to have everything switched to the new handbag the night before or I will run out the door with whatever bag is ready. I am not a morning person, especially not before coffee. So first off, you caught me! OMG! You're the only one who noticed this mistake. AND... thank you so much for your kind words and this comment! It means a lot to me! THANK YOU!!! ❤
@@lydiabond5393 Assembling enough outfits fo a whole trip was something I started doing to avoid having to do laundry or shopping the night before a trip. It worked so well, I started doing it for weeks at home. It really helps me plan the types of clothes I need for special purposes like pedicures, physical therapy, parties, mammograms or other medical tests. It's far more frustrating to have to change clothes at the last minute as I remember that I don't want to wear sleeves so it's easier to have my blood pressure taken. It's just practical. There's no special skill, just doing things in advance and not rushing.

Oh, thank you so much for this comment! By the way, I have tons of different folders in my phone organized by season and style goals, and they significantly simplify my life!
If it ever where to be possible, couldnt you and Diana Goss do a video collab sometime? 😊 it would be very interesting since you two have very different styles but follow the same principals and rules and knows when and how to break said rules. And there are a million things the video could be about! You could try each others styles/outfits and show how you would personalise the outfit and make it work for yourself. Or you could style the same piece but in your own outfits and talk a bit about that. Or have a discussion about what you do and dont agree on and why. I think that would be interesting. Thank you for the video! It was very informative.
This summer I had some fun wearing a sequin top under a sheer blouse. The sheer layer tones down the brassiness of the sequins but the sequins provide UNEXPECTED sparkle when the sun shines through the sheer fabric. It's a little bit "street style" and it is definitely meant with a sense for fun. For many years , I have worn sequins on the fourth of July because of the way sequins reflect fireworks. I think it shows a sense of humor without looking like a costume. Avoid too much bling by being conservative with accessories. Tucking sequins under a jean jacket is good high-low contrast with balance. All of Ellena's style principles apply.
Another tip that works well at least for me is to wear only 3 colors or color hue on the totality of the outfit. Hat (if you're wearing one) , belt, footwear and bags included. This formula almost comes out classy.
It’s a really game-changing tip! I know many people who have 3-5 accessory sets for every occasion and mood. It saves tons of time, especially in the morning! Thanks for your comment! ❤
This is why I wear a lot of matching (more or less, like all light brown, all white, etc.) footwear, bag and belt “sets”. Not only is it easy, it always looks cohesive and polished. Especially if I’m wearing a statement item like a print, I want my accessories to support the look, not fight with it. I never gave up this “matchy matchy”, look, it’s just too classic and elegant. I love the turquoise set, but I don’t like black plastic jewelry and would wear casual white mother-of-pearl versions of the black pieces instead.
Excellent video! Your classes go into more detail on this, but it’s a great review and reminder. If we just followed these 5 steps, we’d be SO stylish. Looking forward to your new video on mixing prints 😍
Love the video! Especially last recommendation. Although I put my hair after I put the look together… sometimes I choose more minimalistic almost male hairstyles for the office, or other way around very dressy feminine styles like French bun. Sometimes curls, if I want romantic look, or strait hair on relaxing day with comfy temperature outside I like light makeup, but choosing thin black eyeliner or brown also depends on my outfit idea. Wish inspiration to all girls! Be pretty, love yourself and this beautiful world around❤ you
A tip for quick makeup use a tinted sunscreen you can get them with medium coverage then you have done two steps in one just blush bronzer I use a cream or liquid because it's quick over the tinted sunscreen then eyebrows and mascara and a lip gloss and that's enough to look polished dy to day a slick back bun also quick easy and polished ❤

I actually do the opposite - I don't shopping with perfect hair and make up because I end up liking everything I put on and end up with stupid purchases.
Shouldn’t you credit Diana Goss for the idea of accessory sets? My styling ideas and tips are constantly being used by others without crediting me, too, it’s not professional.
I didn’t realize until I watched on that Diana Goss is a business partner of yours, so now I understand why you didn’t credit her. I just get a bit protective when I think someone else’s ideas have been adopted without proper acknowledgment because it happens to me so often.
@@kimberlyperrotis8962 I totally understand your concern. Yes, Diana Goss and I are not just business partners; we are close friends. By the way, the idea of accessory sets was born when we were working on a new program for the style club. Thanks for bringing it up, and I appreciate your understanding!

By the way, this is my favorite button-up; it's so chic and elegant! And YES - I tried to find something similar to link it here - but there's nothing worth mentioning ...
Excellent tips, Ellena! ❤
Good tips, thank you ❤
I like your Haa😍
Fab video! Thank you for the great tips 👍
Great tips 🎉
Precious knowledge ❤
thank you so much!!!
That black boat necklace top is wonderful, can you share the brand and whether it is current?
Elena, thank you! If I may just point out how beautiful you are without makeup also ❤
You’re classy.😍
Hello. What is the brand undergarment you use for your fitted dresses/skirts like the orange striped in this video, to create that seamless drop? Thank you, love your style! ❤
I predict 100k subscribers in no time!!!
Did you speed up the voice over? I like your normal pace 😂 Ps I so love your style and your videos!!
Now I know why you like to wear orange so much. I think my next cat is going to have to be orange😻
I disagree with the first outfit of black printed pants and a blue fitted top; it didn't flow nicely.
Do you and Diana Goss both run the Style Club or are these two different groups? Thank you
we run the same style club together! It's our shared project!
so i am wondering how the second outfit works with the loose white t shirt and loose black pants? it looks great but according to rule about dont wear fitted with fitted or loose with loose, this outfit is breaking the rule right? thank you for your help!
Like all outfits, but this fitted white/blue tank top and wide black/white simply don't look good together.
Hi elena I have followed you for months but now I can not see your Insta profile or posts it says because I am not over 25. Is there something wrong with your page? Help me please I like your page🦋
Hi i liked it whitout make up more😂 its so Balenciaga
❤❤❤
SO SORRY FOR SPELLING YOUR LOVELY NAME INCORRECTLY!!!!
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!!!
👏👏🌸
What is the reason almost all of her pants are just way too long? I like the styles but I don’t want my pants to clean the floor.
I agree. I have always wondered about too long pants - thought it was a new look and I’m old!
I think she is petite and shows new clothes
She also made a video about how to wear extralong pants using a safety pin to gather them
I agree and wondered the same thing. Pants too long and also some clothes just too big.
I guess it’s the trendy oversized fit. It’s fine for holidays but I’m wondering how you show up in the office like this.
I love long pants and opportunity to wear heels. Lucky my pants can be pulled higher to cover a heel on flats, but in the same time avoid wiping the ground
Cómo me gustan esas gafas azules, son ideales.....😮😮
I actually do the opposite - I don't shopping with perfect hair and make up because I end up liking everything I put on and end up with stupid purchases.
💞💞🍀🍀
Ellena, summertime the make up will melt off from u.
Depends what you wear!
We often spend hours discussing style topics and issues, and many ideas are born from our dialogues with each other. I'm happy to have a friend and colleague who shares the same passion, and we can nourish each other with new ideas and professional thoughts, especially for the style club content. By the way, the idea of accessory sets was born when we were working on a new program for the style club. Thanks for bringing it up, and I appreciate your understanding!
You don’t like heels 🙀
Many, many people have gone off heels these days. They’re so much less popular than they used to be because people have realised you can look really good without them and still be comfortable.
@@traceybartlam7737 the elegance of high heels will never go away women walk more straight when they wear high heels I don’t see myself giving them up
@@maryabdel-malik656 I get that but so many people have realised you can be elegant, fashionable and comfortable modern without them. It’s each to their own and what makes you feel good. I have pairs in the pack of my wardrobe never ever work, pairs in really good condition and they have been for sale for months and months - no takers!
