AAAHHHHHHHHH!!! I saw these guys in the mid 90's... 1996 I believe... in Charlotte NC... They opened up for Lynch Mob... and LSD BLEW them off the stage... My favorite LIVE SHOWs and my favorite albums of all time!
BRILLIANT!!!
Even now... I still know all the words to all the songs...haha...
Watching these videos takes me back to a better time... Thank you!
You both are VERY welcome ! I wish I had more footage of the band as good as this.
Are you in the band?
Just excellent thank you sooo much for posting this!I've been a huge L.S.D. fan since the silent majority CD came out and I never had a chance to see them live. This is a god send to me and you are just the best!
One of the most phenomenal bands I've ever seen. Saw them in Tulsa back when I was young in a small bar. Wasn't aware of their show or anything. Stanley walked by my buddy and I, jumped up on stage, and started playing Blue Velvet Moon. (We thought he was a dead man, with the bouncers we knew. LOL!) Silent Majority is on my daily playlist and an all-time favorite album.
Greetings from Melbourne, Australia. Thanks for posting this footage from this awesome band. I LOVE their album The Silent Majority. It still sounds as good today as it did back then. It's a shame we never got a follow-up album. All the best to them anyway. BTW, why is everyone in the crowd sitting down? I'd be going crazy! Stanley, Stanley...
As a musician of 30 + years, the best live band I've ever seen bar none. Windjammer in tulsa oklahoma. Just after they got signed. Met them all. Most intense concert ever. Love them to this day.
Applause from Argentina ✨
Amazing! Stanley kills me, man. I saw these guys, I think, 3 times back in the day in the DC area. My friend and I were just talking yesterday about them. Ahhh...the good old days. :-)
I have always loved their opening! They blew the sox off of Lynch Mob when I saw them live.
Thank you to all of you ! I hope to have more stuff added here by Jan 2009.
Best live band ever!
just filled me pish bag.
they sound so good live.
this makes my day.
thanks
The first time i seen LSD was in New York at the lime light , i got out of a cad in front of the club to see some freak playing a guitar sitting on the ground i go in the club i didn't know what band was playing that night then out walks onto the stage is the that dude i saw outside the culb it was stanley i was blown away that night i will never froget that moment in time . U ROCK STANLEY
LSD Fucking rocked every song on the disk had something. Got to see them twice when they came through Dallas wish they could have done more music
Stanley deafly had some moves! I really dug this band used to see him quite a bit back in LA in the late 80s early 90s what became of poor old Stanley????
Nobody is really sure. Some say he is a realtor back east. Rumor was he was a really rich trust fund kid and moved to LA and acted full on homeless as a penitence.
No puedo creer que toda la gente esté ahí sentadita toda quietita. Increíble!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This I the Coolest thing I have every seen in video or in person! I can't believe the people were sitting down at their tables still!?!!!!
The band is tight, I mean real tight!
Now I'm really bummed I never saw this band live. Those moves aren't just handed to you!
Alex may have been a poseur, but he had the A game chops, and with Stanley this was a winning mix!
I saw them when they opened for Lynch Mob and I almost lost my kidneys I was laughing so hard.
Stann puts on a tremendous show! And band is worthy forum. They were altogether awesome. This particular show-vid my favs: Stannley's mic-twirl, Stannley's jiggy-scoot and his "Wow-WowWahooowl! second half of video. I would love to see them play live again. Never a dull moment.
I'm looking for the "schools for fools" video
I only have it on VHS !!!
One of the best bands that SHOULD STILL BE! A total package of excellent musicianship, off the wall lyrics and one the best live shows (Better than yours Kanye, Jay-Z, Eminem, Beyonce, etc...) ever! No artist today (except AC/DC, of course) matches the energy, weirdness and ingenuity that these guys possessed. Fuck you, Warner Brothers........
KTL Entertainment Well said! The Silent Majority has been a constant in my music collection since it was released. It still sounds as good to me as it did the first time I heard it.
Keith Manning I was lucky to get one of the only 5000 copies made and not only do I still blast it in my car today but it's a major influence in my songwriting. It fuckin' ROCKS!
+KTL Entertainment The thing that was so trippy about LSD, was that no one ever really got a straight answer or... the "truth", etc., about whether the whole "Stanley" thing was for real, a gimmick, an "act" or what! The mystery was what it was and seemed to stay that way. Regardless of whatever the deal was, he had one of the most amazingly gutsy voices ever to hit hard rock! And, he was such an incredible showman with his manic dancing, stage moves, the way he so casually would flip and and juggle his mike all over the place-quite awesome. And to add to the mystery, they basically just vanished after only one album! Wow.
M Mireaux Agreed! Wish they were still around.
Horrible songs, genius live show. Absolute genius. I am in awe.
I disagree...Some of their songs were 'ok', but most, I thought were really cool! Telephone Call was awesome!
You've got 💩 music taste.
Classic!
''school's for fool's''!!!
Oh my God!!!! Can we talk about the stunned audience watching this show, seated at banquet tables?!?!?! Poor guys! This is classic, LSD and I can't get enough!!!
Holy Sheet! Stanley has moves! LSD was the best , too bad they lost momentum.
What happened to this band? I bought their CD in 1992. LOVED it . And Steel do. Are any of the band members doing anything nowadays. Please respond if anyone has any information. Stanley is like no other and has inspired me
Alex is still goin strong. Google Alex Kane.
Stanley blows James Brown away, check out that dancing!
F**K Ya!!! miss ya and love ya !!!
Is there really just one life-performance from LSD? The stupid venue with tables in front of the stage?? Hardly to believe...
WTF? Everyone's sitting at tables, all docile?
Stanley is god

Always loved Stanley. I just never liked Alex and his poser act. Great playing, but to over it, trying to hard. Kinda makes ya feel embarrased for Stanley, lol.
